  1. Sorry we didn't get more! We kept the boys busy working on the car this year so not enough pics of the actual action unfortunately.
  2. Godzilla says: GRRRRRR...... NOT HAPPY!!!!!!
  3. Scott says: Don't worry Mark, it will buff right out.
  4. Duncan says: Are you sure this is how it looked when you parked it here last Mark?
  5. ... and more of the little big off aftermath....
  6. Aftermath of car 811's little spin and big off...
  7. Aftermath of car 832 radial rod snap at 130kays...
  8. A bit of on track (road) action
  9. Some quick pics from our Targa (mis)Adventure... The before shots:
  10. We didn't really get the chance to say it- but it was brilliant to meet everyone, and thanks for all of the chats, advice and support. As first-timers we really appreciated it. Big thanks also to our amazing SAU NSW crew- Jason (JAS-25T) and Neil (NEIL- the grumpy old bloke!), who helped keep us on the road despite all of our bad luck. Pics to follow shortly....
  11. yeah I saw that those guys had betrayed skylines and downgraded anyone see this one around? this is us by daylight
  12. I'm touching wood as I say this, but we're almost sorted. Shtickers and tune still to go. We'll be in town Sunday if anyone's keen/ has time for a catch up? Not being a local, some suggestions of the where and when could be good! Alternatively a mid/post event SAU get together could work? I'm thinking before might be better though?
  13. Kel & Duncan have inherited Targa Tom's old number (and hopefully his good luck!) - 832.
  14. Less talk on teh interweb D, more action please........
  15. eeeek! sounds v like our Targa budget BIG PS: Thanks Targa Tom for the download- much appreciated, especially for us first timers
  16. I totally appreciate the branding direction on 888 but have to say I made the mistake a few times of thinking it was a Holden coming into view Also have to say I was disapointed with Davisons' interview post his retirement from race one. Maybe I'm harsh but it left me wondering if he would have pulled out of the race- sore back or not- if he was on the lead lap after the puncture? The new points system certainly doesn't encourage getting back out to try and finish after misfortune- particularly if you have your testing sorted and don't need the track time.
  17. I'm thinking we should rename it the SuperBrats series.... wish my dad would buy me a fast V8 drive.
  18. My thoughts exactly Targa Tom! As first-timers I'm sure there could be occasions where we just plain get it wrong and 'cut' with absolutely no intention at all (and no benefit!). Personally I think a penalty on 'first offence' is harsh. A warning and then penalty for the next observed offence would be much fairer?
  19. Watching with interest- I need a new helmet for Targa. I have a Shoei which has been good to me- but it's feeling a little too tight to wear for 6 days running in Tas (no smart arse comments about big heads thanks). On a budget too but safety also a must- interested to see what everyone comes up with. Kel
  20. Girls on SAU watch out! Who would have thought that 'tappet' thing only ever happened to cars driven by chicks?
  21. Pay you later Neil (and chop chop Scott) On a more serious, and less gratuitous note... We should organise an SAU catch up at Targa - I know things get crazy when the racing is on, so maybe a before event 'SAU do'? Post interest and arrival dates? Team Raceworx gets in the Sunday before at this stage. Kel
  22. Will organise a PM from Duncan- we've noticed damage after leaving a car with them....
  23. Thanks mate & good on you for your earlier donation! Paul/Stacey - can you PM bank details for the foundation? Cheers, Kel
  24. I'll chuck in $250- it's a bloody good looking bra Kel
