Hi all, I bought a shift light for my r32 gtst, wired in 12v pos earth an pin 7 tacho speed signal (yellow/red) and I cant get the thing to work. Its been extremely frustrating I have also tried wiring it to the cas and timing loop Does anyone know how I can make it work? its a regular shift light, pos neg tach signal cut brown loop for 6cyl etc

Hey guys, another much cheaper option (I found) was to fit in an r33 steering rack. Bolts straight Into the 32's mounts, power steering lines need very slight adjustment (bending) to fit. Also had to trim a little off the tierod and end, 10mm each per side Cost me 30 bucks with a crossmember and lines off gumtree and has more steering lock Tie rod ends are about 25dollars each, superpro bushes roughly 40 for the pair and still much cheaper I was quoted 500 to have my 32 rack rebuilt or 250 for another from a wrecker

For anyone else interested Z31 front lca inner bushes, Z32 diff mounting bush sets and 240sx rear lca bushes are the same and appear to be the cheapest way to replace r32 20-25 year old bushes. Ebay us and energy suspension

Fuel pump stock or aftermarket? My 32 ran like a bag of snot, ran a fuel pressure gauge and found a faulty pump.

Hi guys, i have a quick couple of questions. My car is an r32 gtst and i'm going through replacing suspension parts and bushes to try get it driving like newish again. It currently has adjustable castor rods, rear camber arms and plan on installing rear traction arms. Are z32 diff bushes the same as r32 gtst? Are 300zx z31 front and rear lower control arm bushes exactly the same? Im aware people do s13 front end conversions into z31s and s13 lca bushes are the same My reason for asking is on ebay usa z31 z32 and 240sx poly bushes are significantly more affordable, even shipped

Replace with stock, they last much longer then nolathane/adjustable rods with rose joints. Aftermarket stuff seems to wear much quicker then stock parts, i replaced mine in a 32 with adjustable rods 4months ago and they are starting to squeek now. There are also stories of nolathe castor rod bushes lasting one track day. In the motorsport build section, the targa built cars are required to run stock arms and most run new stock rubber bushes

Just go down the proven path, low km high compntest results and shim stock oil pump. Leave the bearings on rods ends etc. Save the money on the little things and put towards a better tune
