My girlfriend has a 33 with stock box and turbo, full exh fmic 12psi etc. Her car shifts nicely between 1-2 but still firm. Manual shift in 'power' and it breaks traction on 265s with coilovers. But even then the shifts are firm but still progressive, and it has a small trans cooler over to the drivers side infront of the radiator that looks stock If it is like a jolt and almost instant then it is likely you have a shift kit. Theres a video on youtube of a shift kitted 33 with a ratchet shifter for you to compare against

Thats awesome, what sort of boost do you plan to achieve? The super trucks run 70ish psi through their twin compound setups

No worries, my missus has a 33 gtst do they have the same afm? If so should i put mine in her car, or hers in my car?

Found a 1/2 inch hose had perished and leaked badly under the upper plenum. Repaired it, replumbed the iavc and it runs, but not with the afm plugged in, what do you think i should check?

Ok, so i just disconnected the iacv and blocked the air hoses. Disconnected the afm and now she runs thankyou, will check for induction leaks now :-)

Just re read your post jiffy, and checked a pinout, does that ground need to be Earthed to chassis or motor?

Cheers heaps jiffo. Thanks for the wiring, where/whats the air reg? My idle control valve has a plug on it that is plugged in and I have wired the s13-rb20 using your guide johnnilicte previously. Thankyou The issue is hard to describe, it gets good strong spark and fuel. The fuel lines are plumbed the right way, it starts and fires but will not run. Like the injectors arent opening. I tested pressure by opening one of the lines, and i tested the fpr by using a g clamp to progressively increase pressure to rule that out. Is the ground in the plug an injector ground? And where is it wired to? Cheers for your help

And the car has started, but the next day it didnt. Has fuel and spark. Runs on startyabastard but wont run anymore. Start wire pin 43 is wired when cranking. Im lost

Though changing manually while in 'power' is better for the trans. Temperatures are generally kept lower when treated this way. But wide open throttle changes can stretch the bands. A little food for thought

Replace the coilovers with stock suspension, put smaller rear wheels 15/16 inch with street drag radials, hi stall torque converter, mv auto shift kit have some fun. My question, how much can a stock 32 auto take? Has 33 turbo with vg30 rear housing and supporting mods.

Does the vacuum line tube on the actuator have a steel 90 bend on it so its facing forward, or straight out and down? If it has the bend that means it's a 33 acutator... search google to see the visual difference
