  1. It's cool man we still love ya
  2. Can someone pm me details about this? date/cost/location etc. Haven't got my members forum access yet. Thanks.
  3. Will definitely be there, might see a few old wrx club buddies
  4. To me it's more about what suits the car. Back when I had my 06 wrx I would have had no hesitation in putting Rota's on if I was going to change the wheels. Now that I own an r34 gtr v spec there is no way in hell I would let those near my car. TE37sl's would be my first choice. If you have a car that you bought for <25k then yeah Rota's why not... But if you spent 40k+ on a car then surely you'd be able to fork out the extra cash for an amazing lightweight set of rims that the car deserves.
  5. Picked up on 11 Nov, taken during the drive from Syd to Melb (car covered in bugs hahaha)
  6. Showers and 23 on Sat apparently, if the weather isn't too bad in the morning I might pop in
  7. Saw a silver 33 on sat night at the lights outside parkmore shopping centre in keysborough
  8. HOLY MOTHER OF STRUT BRACES
  9. Just got mine done here
  10. What makes you think it's the spark plugs causing the problem? Have you tried simple things like resetting the ecu? Maybe crap from the bottom of the tank got sucked up and clogged the injectors? What "cleaner" did you use and how did you use it? If you really want to change the spark plugs then personally I wouldn't bother with iridiums, especially if you are having problems, just put some normal coppers. NGK recommends PFR5G which looks like the platinums or BKR5EIX which are iridiums, in that case you can just go for BKR5ES which are normal coppers and go for around ~$4-5 ea. If you don't know how to gap them correctly then just take it to a mechanic and get them to sort it out Splitfire do make spark plugs, but whoever recommended it might have been talking about the coil packs not plugs
  11. Haha yeah I'd thought so, still if some get ripped off during install or if you have to remove the system and re install it would be a pain
  12. Makes more sense Must be fun to wire them up with all black wiring
  13. The M80 doesn't, you can hold the remote button down for about 2 sec and it locks the doors and beeps as usual, but the immob/sensors only activate after the engine shuts off.
  14. It's interesting that there is a turbo timer function on an ADR approved alarm
  15. Hey guys, I have a bnr34 gtr v spec 99 model with a genuine nismo oil cooler setup. Anyone know what temp the thermostat is meant to open up and let oil flow through?
  16. Have you got a mongoose m80? I know its been resolved but for future reference all you do is put the key in and turn it to on, then press "button 3" on the remote and it beeps once or twice going through turbo timer on/off function. Can't remember which is which though.
  17. Probably mixed up the -5's and -7's
  18. Can i see some photos of the gear knob and suspension?
  19. What makes this different to the normal to be purpose built for e85? Also is it a direct replacement for a bnr34 gtr v spec?
  20. Oh awesome! thanks. I'll give them a call tomorrow. In the mean time if anyone has one let me know still.
  21. Hi Guys, Picking up my bnr34 gtr v spec soon and i've been trying to source a stock cat back exhaust for RWC (the exhaust on it is pretty quiet, just want to make sure). If anyone has one that I can borrow or even buy i'll gladly leave a deposit with you to borrow it for the rwc. I'm SE of Melbourne and don't mind a bit of travel to pick it up. Thanks.
  22. I don't know that much about the cams, from what i've read the poncam type b's would be suitable. Wait for someone with more knowledge to have a say on that though... As for the exhaust, you mentioned you have done the cat and catback, by "modified cat" do you mean gutted? Cos if its a track car maybe you could just run a straight pipe in its place. What about front pipes? Those would make a big difference.
  23. Have you contacted them to see if it can be sent to NZ?
  24. I still want it to have some sound to it, but these exhausts are sounding too good to be true
