  1. Can't forget Wild Bills amirite
  2. ^ that's incredible! New favourite website. Kraftwerk quote is classic
  3. VH or VK?VK is more common in merica. Think they use them in oval racing so would be some gearbox options out there. Also used in a fair bit of drag racing as there's a few American upgrades for RE4 and RE5 gearboxes.
  4. I'm fairly certain GTIR manual gearbox bolts on to engine and drive train. Just the rest of the usual auto-to-manual stuff to worry about. Solid engines, decent car for the money. Lots of people out effort into them and can't sell them for anything so a few bargains out there.
  5. Over an i20? Of course (They didn't have any pulsars)
  6. New whip for a few days. Quite nice actually. But bluemotion fuel saving measures are shitting me up the wall. Otherwise not bad for a hire car (extra <$10 a day over Hyundai i20)
  7. Is there an F1 hotel nearby? It's called F1 so must be good
  8. There's a thread with SAU best moments, they're more worthy than this
  9. (Seriously put on playing with the boys in your workplace, make sure the video clip is visible)
  10. Dogfighting? You been watching too much top gun. Why don't you go "Play with the boys" - sincerely, Kenny Loggins (I've had that song stuck in my head all week, and it's shitting me)
  11. just saw this on facebook, Havoc fabrication making RB manifolds
  12. There's a yellow SSS Stanza with plates SSS555. That's pretty gay?
  13. when I have $500 lying around...
  14. noooo... dont complete your 4-door-to-drift-car transformation
  15. usually the people that say that, are the ones who dont listen to advice or dont have a solid think about whats actually involved in highly modifying cars. The fact that all those bits you listed have basically off the shelf solutions, makes your build easier than most other car builds.
  16. i saw something with a bunch of people complaining about external gate locations and welds, nek minnit they get thrown around in every other thread about being the go-to people for manifolds. i dunno anymore.
  17. hmmm its the damn GST. but i guess the whole process was under $6k for my gloria. better exchange rate and a 700,000yen car (with $2.5k compliance).
  18. my eyes water when I see those figures. how much do they charge for compliance?
  19. ^ save that kind of talk for whoretown. This is VWL.
  20. something simple like making your own ringtones or message/alert tones and getting them to work properly on an iphone, its unnecessarily complex. Want to grab photos/files/manage downloaded files/run a gameboy emulator and seamlessly play games with gameshark codes? so much more effort and essentially forced to have iTunes installed on every computer you plug it into. Even bluetooth is just a PITA on iphone. But what tipped me over the edge was requiring updates on the phone in order to sync/use iTunes. If you're phone is 1-2 models old and there is a new iOS version, the phone is basically f**ked. its running an OS that the phone can barely process on its own, let alone with 12GB of pics, videos, music, apps.
  21. it sure does, Billy.
  22. Day ran very smoothly and plenty of track time had by all. A huge credit to the organisers.
  23. wut. what magazine is that?
