  1. Dream boats. Ex-mate who sold his pulsar to get a VW, going on about his mates having 400kw Audi, golf R this, GTI that.... Bah. 400kw won't save you when your car puts itself into limp mode from a wind screen wiper electrical fault
  2. Surely there's a basic Nissan shelf rear view mirror that just sticks on.... Not for $400. Sikaflex it to the glass, she'll be right m8
  3. is it cable or hydraulic clutch? maybe the car has done like 500,000kms total or was written-off in japan and then pieced back together...
  4. sent. you're welcome to share it around, but im in the middle of updating it so should have a new one later this month.
  5. becoz concept. and becoz carbon fibre
  6. anyone else went back to work yesterday? seemed everyone i knew went back to work, but then so many people I deal with are coming back like 18th of Jan. lazy pricks.
  7. Thanks for the tip, will avoid. Not sure how every second kid in Australia goes with their entire family and does every park over a week. Need CFMEU wages for that Shit, and even then you still have to pay off your boat, GTO, 4WD and Harley at the same time.
  8. Hmmmm. Not really interested in seeing animals, and most major attractions seem for the kiddies. From what I heard unanimously in primary school was that the queues at wet and wild were huge waiting times, but I love water rides
  9. Anyone been to any of the qld theme parks in the last 10 years? Possibly going with someone who has never been to any. After value for money and things for 20-somethings, not too much kids stuff. Want to do just 1 park.
  10. ride it like you stole it. just usually when they crash cars, they just survive and bail.
  11. not my ticket. (thankfully). you think people would learn their lesson from buying tickets to gigs late on a sunday night...
  12. Anyone want a ticket to Mac demarco tonight at 170 Russell
  13. yeah i heard there were issues with a silvia group buy or something like that...
  14. Leave for camping tomorrow. Will be back 2nd or 3rd of jan
  15. Is that merc chrome??
  16. Alvin, you still got your heart set on modifying the banana R34? Could upgrade to V35 or V36, faster out of the box just more expensive to modify (but much less attention too)
  17. Problem is they charge full price for a repaired 34GTR. Import Chef and J-spec Imports are the most widely used on SAU
  18. Depends on damage. Going through an import broker they can inspect the car prior to bidding.
  19. for that kind of money you'd be better of buying a repaired car at auction in japan
  20. Once interest rates go back up I might consider finding a good place for a savings account. Credit card is with HSBC, zero fees with under 20% interest rate. So far is ok, call centre is overseas and pretty Shit. Though recently they've started opening locations in Melbourne.
  21. guess I cant talk, my car used to have an RE Customs sticker on it but i didnt put it there.
  22. illest? future hamish right here ^
  23. hmmm. best to rely on driver training/skill than technology. Without trying to compromise the lives of yourself and your family, I would try to get used to the laws of FWD. Point the front wheels in the direction you want to go, and power out. It is scary losing the rear in a FWD though. otherwise, i think this person had the right idea:
  24. For higher-end coolers, I really like Setrab. http://www.setrab.com/ Not the cheapest and shipping from the US. But comes with adapter fittings for whatever connections you want to run. If you want to save some money (and maybe even time), make up your own lines and fittings. Free speedflow catalog comes with instructions, all you need is an angle grinder, some spanners and a vice, really. Speedflow is well worth the extra price compared to something like aeroflow. If you're fitting a sandwich plate + cooler, might as well relocate the oil filter. Not sure what access is like with the RB, but makes life easier changing filters and mounting sensors.
