  1. Yep they're shit
  2. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2015/11/17/this-is-the-group-thats-surprisingly-prone-to-violent-extremism/ "Engineers are much more likely to become fundamentalist terrorists"
  3. not sure about Hi-flow options. but people will always have relatively high expectations for a product when the main advertising point is so specific: "300rwkw on stock RB25 @25psi by 3200rpm" or something...
  4. Keep us posted with how the car goes and you're final verdict
  5. Apparently the RB hypergear turbos are sorted... They reckon the VQ needs more research.
  6. orly? friend of a friend. nice guy. all i know he's in IT and does on-call.
  7. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/442392-m35-turbo-upgrade/page-10 also, fastest FWD at Snowy 1000 last year was a mazda MX6. reaching a speed of 216km/h. any FWD car that is capable of running 11secs 1/4 mile would wallop that speed. hopefully some decent contenders this year...
  8. dem stagea guys really trying hard to rip hypergear a new one...
  9. Oh that's awesome. I might get that gauge and run 4.9 Bosch wideband. Thanks for the info.
  10. my friend spoke to someone who works at NAB said they do the same thing... no major changes/risky work over xmas period
  11. thats a cool little item.it doesnt seem to be able to display 2 things at once though. would be nice to have AFR dots on the outside and boost reading number in the middle (with alarms active for both). If you have to run a vacuum line to it to get good logging, you might as well use it to replace your boost gauge... but then you cant read your AFRs without hooking it up to a laptop and changing it.
  12. PowerFC on ebay, just want it gone. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Apexi-PowerFC-SR20-GTiR-SSS-VZR-/111832676237?
  13. when you live bachelor life its good for 2 dinner before washing guy i went to high school with not into cars liked a picture of a midnight purple 33GTR, obviously works with the owner (at Telstra). looked clean. upon closer inspection the guy put Nismo stickers on Rota's. instant loss of respect. if you cant afford LMGTs, just get something else. also, Hamish... whats this about major banks halt any sorts of slightly risky work over December and January because all the managers (aka self-important mid-high mgmt) are all on holidays? people I know are doing some works for ANZ in tullamarine, its a big job, and they want everything finished by friday (they have no idea whats involved) because they have to shut the site down for 2 months due to bank policy of managers possibly going on holidays and its too risky?? if something goes wrong or blows-up, what is a manager going to do? not even the fire brigade can just walk-in and do something about the electrical side of stuff.
  14. ^ no? (@ moh) fark those steam veggie bags. cheaper and easier to just buy corn, peas, beans frozen and then microwave them in a tupperware container. then you can add them to anything you're cooking, whilst frozen. fresh is the only way to go for broccoli, cauliflower and carrot though.
  15. aaaand sold.
  16. PM'd I will post in here to let people know once it has been officially sold.
  17. for the oil pressure and oil temp sensors? yeah if it has 2 spare bungs in it to put the sensors in.
  18. ahhh k. must be lonely looking down from upstairs at all the peasants in clayton by yourself
  19. Still available
  20. ^ lol thats a great way to lose weight actually. heroine probably does a better job though.
  21. fark it shits me when dropkicks have impressive looking resumes and then you find out theyre completely useless. *goes off to copy-pasta then edit someone else's resume since it better suits my skills than his*
  22. i never got into power water sports. its the smell of crappy fuel and people hosing off their boat after a morning of fishing. such an inefficient form of transport. jet skis ruining a perfectly quiet beach. me failing miserably at knee-boarding on an awkward ex gf's family trip to eildon. having to read speed gauges in mph.
  23. Mighty Car mods Figaro
  24. was a big turnout, look forward to next year. I got some nasty snaps on my phone.
