  1. Bit late... But this is on today. Not sure if there's going to be much SAU love, but looks like the usual classic skylines and 34GTRs will be there
  2. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/460581-fs-bmw-335i-e92-prior-design-widebody/ $10k for wheels and tyres? over $1k to fit a rear diff? $30k for widebody and re-spray. wants 40% back on what he paid for mods + value of the car? i feel sorry for this dude. not to mention you can get an M3 of the same era and kms for the same or even less money. I wonder which will depreciate more?
  3. price drop to $400. I managed to find all the sensors (coolant, oil pressure, oil temp) so ill throw those in for no extra cost.
  4. first GTR? do you plan on having to buy more than one?
  5. Dat pulsar race track economy (though 98). Also, if you go fuel cell, can increase tank capacity
  6. http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4847713528 yay house internet has been dropping in and out all week and today has been choppy at 2mbs. login into the router and says its 5.7mbs... Its been ok for a few weeks before this, and then will be bad for a day or 5 then be back to normal. been talking to internode on and off throughout the year about it and ive replaced the line filter with a normal cable, and the only other option is to replace the router. I borrowed my dads old ADSL2 modem/router and found out its not compatible with iinet's network the fritzbox is a $300 router than ive never had any issues with, other than having to reset it whenever speeds slow down. im not going to replace it just so internode can lodge a complaint to telstra/optus whoever. changing to cable from optus or telstra would double the internet bill and i'd lose my $20 a month mobile SIM.
  7. R in the sheet means repaired... who knows what kind of shit has been done to it.
  8. sounds pretty do-able. just keep in mind the extra money for eating foods like MEAT. and if you have your rail pass (one of them) already sorted, then you're sailing. i dont think its too pricey, but all the different rail networks require different passes. just depends on if you go to any car part stores... though from what I hear, the worst places for window shopping (croooober, up garage, autobach) are all pretty out of the way.
  9. Ainsley is the best for poking fun at. I hadn't watched his show before until recently. He's a funny, touchy-feely guy who deserves all the internet fame he gets
  10. inb4 we're all inferior beings due to growing up semi-processed food and pasty-ass white bread.
  11. http://www.healthscopepathology.com.au/index.php/functional-pathology/tests/ Food sensitivity tests.
  12. dont go the audi. enough people around having issues or dealership woes or just maintenance in general. cant comment on beemers. so that leaves the lexus with my vote.
  13. a lot of what we eat at home is gluten-free, but thats due to fructose intolerance. once you know the symptons, you just rule out food that makes you feel that way. i need to get tested soon... i cant drink beer anymore starting this year $400 for testing of like 89 food types or something. also, tofu pumpkin and ricotta lasagna. incredible.
  14. i did not know that place existed. will need to try it out.
  15. Love me some goldeneye. But seriously VWL, where would I get a tofu burger in melb? Watching Japanese food show makes me crave good tofu
  16. i'd always heard good things from RE back in the early days. I think 2010 onwards the most common lunch turned from sandwiches to pho/noodles and the average age of employee turned to under 23.
  17. new worst thread on SAU: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/460737-z-tune-inspired-r34-project/ R34 GTR with 15 pages in 2 weeks of endless questions and indecisiveness. made worse with the countless threads with the OP asking about purchasing a R34GTR
  18. Greg, sell your skyline. Buy my Gloria. Put your gearbox goodies on, high-flow, intercooler and E85. Would be an awesome car
  19. Hind sight is a wonderful thing. If you knew there was an engine version of HAL9000 in your motor, you would have just gotten a replacement.
  20. +1 blah_blah got full GTR kit + full spray.. too clean to track now. if you wanted mechanical + exterior mods, should have bought someone else's package IMO. especially if you're on a budget.
  21. you're not going to get something like that for under $700. do you want painted, single piece spoilers or full separate mounts + wing? an SAU search pulled up carmate: http://www.carmate.com/display_products.php?id=132&categoryid=5 not sure on quality, and thats un painted.
  22. I would help out, srs. odie and miguele can accomplish a lot in a day too (provided all tools are in working order)
  23. saw one in person a while ago just as they came out, looked nice, really liked the sunroof. apparently people in the US been tuning them and getting decent numbers.
  24. you have a driveway, right? we'll do engine swap there. VWL style. broken engine crane, not enough jack stands, run out of cable ties.
