  3. Retirement fund.Plus it's a speech he has adequate time to practice and repeat
  4. Games testing is a Shit job. My cousin used to be IT manager for a medium-ish Aussie developer, so I did a week of work experience there. Testing Barbies Horse-ride game for 8 hours is not fun. Forced to play any game for 8 hours is one of those "be careful what you wish for" Bottom of the food chain stuff.
  5. money. its like anyone who specialises in a certain aspect of any industry. people around you talk about it, you work with it every day and it becomes second nature.
  6. yeah maybe. sounds pretty boring though. surely there is only so many 4G's, JZ's and RB's you'd want to assemble.
  7. im glad something was found and its being sorted. good thing you suspected something before it got worse too. its not really worth getting on the blame train so quickly before something is diagnosed.
  8. Quality stuff. Also, I'm sure Gary does a fine job but no one is safe from avoidable mistakes. Especially when it comes to cars. Except rajab racing.
  9. Been driving the car for a little while, so far as good. Still needs a lot of work to get it to where I'm happy, but slowly getting closer. Jason has finished his looms, so now we'll sort out the bit and pieces. Bulk connectors into the firewall: The sound deadening between the 2 layers of steel made it difficult to fit. Some hammering did the job, but next time crushing it with a G-clamp or simply cutting 1 layer of steel and the sound deadening would work. The relay unit pictured above, in its new home underneath the centre console: Next up is securing the new engine looms and then sort out under the dash + fuel pump.
  10. moh, sell BMW. buy this: http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/albany-creek/cars-vans-utes/1990-toyota-celsior-widebody-/1092428741
  11. Hoegaarden slab (bottles) $55 at Dan's with member card
  12. ^ sounds like a real winner taken from his page:
  13. Wasn't insult. Just observation.
  14. I feel sorry for your parents. I'm sure you'll slap them into a retirement home first chance you get.
  15. I understand boon jobs but poor little granny didn't protect her savings from scammers for 20 years so you could get fake milk sacks. It's like spending it on a dick piercing. Granny is rolling in her grave in disgust
  16. Whats even worse is that its common knowledge that shes had abortions... not worth it. if you want pics i could select any number of his 1600 friends.
  17. ...and then theres the shit on facebook that appears on my news feed via people I know from the latrobe valley: a lady (probably a bit over 20) asking for opinions on whether she should get a boob job or not. most saying no, some saying yes. including someone who said she would join if the lady went ahead and did it. another said she was going to thailand to get it done, and that the lady should join. Lady then said her grandma died recently and the inheritance could possibly go towards said trip and boob job. couldnt make that shit up.
  18. damn, thats great. I remember being young when one of my grandparents died... got an old aussie flag a key chain. good times. meanwhile, seems like a lot of peers are only just finishing uni now at 25 and mooching off trust funds. it weird how the all the biggest hippies and space cadets are from the wealthier families.
  19. $2.5k tax means big returns then?
  20. That awkward moment when you have one vacuum port per runner (after TB ) but you've blocked them off and now have nowhere to run BOV vaccum line to.
  21. very lucky. who installed/measured the shims? some people like to cut up feeler gauges and put them under existing shims rather than ordering new ones... just a thought.
  22. I only read the good threads on here, so makes sense I've never seen it before
