I haven't made my mind up regarding a tuner... Danny from springy is pushing for Autronic. My new auto elec (who is not from this world) knows mostly people from professional motorsports circles and he recommends products/brands/people that import forums haven't got an opinion on.It's tough from a consumer perspective to read the brochures and opinions and get a feel for how it works and its limitations. I'm wary of tuners who push for certain products because they are distributors.

thread dig again... any body sussed out this 350Z ECU? http://www.syvecs.co.uk/products/engine-management-system/s350z/ doesnt tell you a whole lot, but from what it does say it could same ECU plug. im guessing its similar to the Vipec option http://www.vi-pec.com/ecus/iseries__pluginecu#nissan but says VQ35DE applicable only. but also says capable of doing forced induction....

I wish ECU's were clear-cut, black & white decision making a choice is annoying.

its a very nice car and you're doing it justice, but fark i would not have the patience or determination to replace/repair so many poorly implemented items. i would probably bin the whole front end and start from scratch. thankfully, its not my car.

i recently upgraded to xp and ditched the powerpack and keyboard. win8 might be very friendly in this case.
