  1. lol its because you're on the dandenong line. not many caucasians in general. plenty of tru-blu private school kids on the frankston line. Mornington to Melbourne High, anyone?
  2. inb4 DJ Nexus II also: cant get over how much of a forester this is:
  3. The brownest of the brown liquors
  4. i feel bad for the dude, i do... but how do you not do any research into a) the seller b) the actual value of the car and d) get it checked prior to purchase and/or listen to what they f**king told you http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/opinion/was-this-car-purchase-a-rip-off-or-a-wind-up/story-fnlrw4is-1227462226858
  5. The Y34 owner who transplanted a half cut I'm assuming just did a full swap of ECU, TCU, motor, gearbox. Didn't describe any major issues.
  6. I'd love to take the Jetta out, but its about the same playing field as the Solstice or MX5.
  7. http://www.ngk.com.au/oxygen-sensors-part-finder?PageMode=Results&Make=NISSAN&Model=Maxima+J31&Capacity=3.5L&Year=11%2F03+-+03%2F09&Engine=&Engine=VQ35DEV6+Cyl+DOHC+MPFI+24V+ Same pre-cat part number I quoted above. Thanks for the confirmation.
  8. Yeah I ignored the post-cat sensors on the NA motors. How do you change or simulate a narrowband from a wideband?
  9. Probably not. The other black Y34 owner lives in sunshine
  10. internode is optus yes. and yes reception is average. but work phone is telstra soooo thats the substitute.
  11. (dont quote me on this, but) I think its a computer/viscous controlled setup that activates the rear wheels (up to 50% of power) only when the front wheels lose grip.
  12. meh, not unless the price is right with Virgin. i still dont think their voicemail is a free service (or comes out of your cap) and I used to get charged extra for MMS because it wasnt included (either that or 1300 numbers or something). its was over 2 years ago though. Their online hub this is pretty average. took over 2 days to update online usage. still happy with internode here for $20 a month.
  13. its on their website. the pictures show you what you get. http://www.performance-wise.net/page12.htm I got a full coolant kit for the GTiR motor and was all the right shape and decent quality.
  14. aww yis http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Mazda-MX-6-1993/SSE-AD-691769/?Cr=2
  15. looks clean. The way the AWD system works puts me off them a bit as a platform for modifying. but how many modern cars are good for modifying these days?
  16. thread dig. no one has any specifics yet for part numbers? 22690-AL600 - claimed OEM VQ25DET part. Amayama wants $433 for one. everyone else uses EL falcon o2 sensor with no plug... (from what I can tell) the plug is common as shit for Nissan's of the same era. According to the NGK website, ADM VQ-equipped cars use a plug like this: of which there are many sensors on ebay with that plug. So I suspect the NGK part number VQ turbo engines would need is: OZA544-N8 (zirconia, 18mm thread) Can anyone back this up?
  17. all the fab work and aero looks great. can see many many hours in there. Cant wait to re-wire my car... it will be a good feeling when yours is done.
  18. well im on 18's with almost 4 degrees camber, so getting there
  19. regardless of the front bar, I need sideskirts and rear bar ASAP to cover up the nasty plastic underbody. this aint no cheap euro hatchback. we'll see how it goes. back on-topic... friend of mine in Edinburgh comes across a Highland Park 50yro whiskey for sale. 13,000 pounds.
  20. super excited to fit OEM lip kit to the gloria. buying the kit for $400 then just got to fit myself... going from this: to this: including the chrome pieces front and rear. will try to mount the parking light on the new bar too.
  21. this what I have said to others. But even if it did, I would much prefer the peace of mind knowing the oil is changed. As far as the Y34 goes, there is a km's counter menu in the navigation system used to monitoring service intervals. It can be reset with a few buttons. Have no confirmation that it would actually affect the TCU though.
  22. pfft all you people are like modern day tablet fiends and iphone watch enthusiast from back in the day. y'all be complaining in 10 years about how you only used your tablet to play flappy bird and could only fit Chicago's discography on it before running out of room and how you were the cool person using it as a camera at events but it was silly in hindsight.
  23. great vid of a great battle
  24. haha yep, was sitting on table opposite them. they were getting pretty vocal. but i dont get the appeal of dota or any moba's so everyone seemed strange to me. i enjoyed the weekend for the most part, defs dragging friends along next time. people around me were friendly enough, one even gave me a free steam game. the racing games were a lot of fun. I entered the CS:GO Gun Game competition to win a GTX980TI. I dont do too badly online and won a couple of practice matches during the day. nek minit, first round starts: get absolutely annihilated, lowest score in the first round of 140 players (probably).
