fixed. best we can do is assume its the same as stagea, but you never really know till you see it. (or is nissan FAST would bring up a picture of the gasket/turbo)

need to find out what kind of flange is needed for the dump pipe on the gloria. Everyones pretty confident it would be the 5-stud oval shape thats so common, but best way to find out is get a gasket from Nissan. but they said its going to take 3 weeks from japan. R33 turbo has 5 bolt oval type? would they have local stock of that you reckon?

i still dont think its what its cracked up to be. friend of mine is similar age and tried to get ahead in property. what he hates is that between paying rates/property water bills/real estate fees, his bank account is like a bungy cord. he's trying to settle out rural-ish, build a house on land etc and struggling to tie money down for it. apparently it gets more complicated with borrowing more or selling the houses because all the mortgages are tied off of each other (or something, whatever it is that property investers do). house in WA depreciated too. but overall he's just sick of the stress. its a lot of time, effort and money to just break even (which is considered a decent outcome). not everyone can be a winner. but yeah, your housemate is a tight ass. hope he chokes on a black & gold branded snack one day.

lol i hadnt made the jewish connection. ive been seeing this in action more and more lately. mainly because people my age went into uni as the hipster thing was taking off. or that maybe the idea of hipster in everyones head isnt quite on the money... a list of stand-out people I was chatting to on the weekend: Sasha - vegetarian by choice. drives a brand new hatchback prius (which im confident she paid for). works as a teacher in a special needs school. skinny jeans were here designation camping pants. violently crushed every insect that crawled out of the camp fire because didnt want them near her when sleeping (how f**king retarded is that). 8/10 points Alex - had a housewarming for a new rental townhouse in north coburg. had more lounge chairs outside than cups in the average kitchen. currently restoring a 70's VW bug. drifts occupation a bit, but is a decent tradesman. Being a metal-head and generally worldly person lowers the score. 5/10 points. Pat - studied *insert something generic here*. has a strong opinion on politics and evil corporations etc. dates a vegan. decent guitarist. looking for work. recently quit job because was sick of it. I found out his dad was a high up dude in Fulton Hogan. friendly guy, but he gets 10/10 points. Emily - studied art/design something. couldnt get work (that paid). started a popular seinfield trivia event. makes knick-knacks and sells them at markets. self-diagnosed hipster, but jokes about it. 9/10 points. in summary: these free spirited, post-uni people are slowly succumbing to the australian lifestyle of: get money, spend money doing what you enjoy. that usually means doing some niche thing because your qualifications arent getting you work.

not much work around Victoria at the moment... only positions advertised at the moment seem to be in QLD, WA or NT. Port Hedland/Pilbara can go ead. and so can a 28:7 roster. (unless it was Dezz wage x2 or round abouts) huh? also, thats pretty stiff about the fine. least they were reasonable when challenging the fine. the cozzers probably know you'll get let off, but if they retracted a fine they're trying to issue it would make em look pretty stoopid.

key words in that article are "unskilled workers" and mining. not all FIFO is mining.

Meh I'm not in door to door racing. Also most of the pulsar challenge guys are very quick. New qualifying record at Winton is 1:42 flat. That's with controlled coilovers, RS3's and stock everything else (80~90kw atw)

i hate the sound of hogs. its like they dont rev or have a power band. off or on. idle or loud. Winterfest was alright. extremely poorly organised though. even the people doing the BBQ had no idea what they were doing, and they werent volunteers! (food was good, just the ladies running the show)

At Toyota track day at Sandown.... Cars came on track at 10:30, 8 or so cars on track and seen 3 spins on the last corner in about 6 laps.

shit thats f**ked. why would there be an option to hide an account? so when you log in people (aka your partner) cant see you've got a secret account? your money should be covered by the bank because... a) they hacked their bank system b) created a bank account and transferred money from said account without your permission or knowing you havent done anything wrong. its not like you used some dodgy smart phone or ATM and entered details of your account. if its via the banks website or system then its their security breach, not yours. (when in NZ my card got scanned by an ATM and someone started withdrawing from america. barely spoke to commonwealth about it due to reception, but they gave me all the money back within a day)

A Question For You High Boost People
Leroy Peterson replied to Kinkstaah's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Didn't the motor make the same power (or even 5kw more) than before? With 10psi less boost. (Partly due to compression ratio increase)I just want to mention that the engine builders suggested the turbo was too small for the desired power figures, and so too did a Garrett rep who comes around the engine shop. I'm not saying a bigger turbo will sort every issue, but it was thrown out there as a suggestion pretty early on. -
https://www.my105.com/ListingDetails/id/15517/latest/1 quality photos and ad description. its the best looking AU falcon ever built (not that that says much). but was available on Gran Turismo 3 +$5000 sell price.

i know people who live like that... unless big farking house and big farking backyard + soundproofing inside, i couldnt do it. my first experience meeting a household of people (NZ'rs strangely enough) living in a converted shop space back of Fitzroy. was like 4 bedrooms (6-10 people staying most night i assume), joint kitchen/bathroom and living space. There were walls between the rooms but the roof was about 5 foot above where the walls finished. so you could hear EVERYTHING that went on. would drive me frigging nuts. i guess they were all marijuana fiends so probably slept like logs. features included: - alley way entrance - amateur tattoo gun located in someones room - a lock of hair strangely dangling from the roof above the door (apparently was there when they moved in) - large communal fish tank but i guess i might have gotten used to it or fit in if I worked full-time at a cafe and was a medium level drug dealer to get by. but i guess ill never know

raced the BMW 320 Turbo today in Project Cars, man such a fun car. crank up the boost to 2.6 bar and let it loose. got the ol' skool no-power-till-6grand kind of turbo. (turn up the quality)

Greg makes some good points. But following that logic, someone could have brought in a mail-order bride and her entire family and still plead the "we're paying for half, whats the problem?" argument. Having lived in a small 2-bedroom flat with one other person (and sometimes a bf, and sometimes my gf) it does feel a lot smaller. someone is usually blocking the fridge, someone has the TV or speakers too loud, someone is having a shower so no one can use the washing machine or use the toilet, someone hasnt done dishes yet so you cant have a glass of water without reshuffling the entire benchspace. etc. Tolerance is an interesting word, but at the end of the day the agreed rental amount + bills covers 2 people with lenience for extras every so often.
