  3. +1 to lexus resale value. 2001 LS430's are under $10k. 2006 LS460's are under $30k. 2012 LS460's are $80k. brand new LS460 long-wheelbase are $240k.
  4. see, what did i tell ya. just get some rotas and put ebay BMW centrecaps on. no one will know and you'll get heaps of BMW owners approaching you asking where you got em.
  5. Can get those wheel cleaning stick things from waxit. Makes life easier
  6. Production race car means race engine. No matter how lacklustre. If it died on the track due to being shit, would they cover it under warranty?
  7. thread kneads moar k-pop
  8. Saw a 450cu block on a bench yesterday. Started getting bad ideas. Roller rockers are so primitive though....
  9. turbo subarus before they were cool. ive never seen anyone thumbs-up any other car ever before. actually, except when someone on a bike thumbs-up when i was in an exige. all i ever see is this: or
  10. yay for plastic laden race engines.
  11. Miguele raises the used car salesman bar in VWL. also, GTX28 equipped Golf R is pretty quick. wouldnt be cheap, especially with DSG upgrades. but 10.6sec pass is quick shame the owner went for stage 3 pack instead of just buying the parts outright.
  12. abouts 1 years tuition at a catholic high school. and the homoerotic scars stay for life.
  13. My R9 280X with 3gb of DDR5 has been doing very well with modern games lately. Few hiccups with GTA5 due to AMD, but runs 50-90fps on high-ultra settings (all the advanced graphics and distances turned off). And been running really well with project cars, maxing out everything except shadows and reflections (to keep it smooth). Also none of the issues that the 290 cards are having
  14. well i cant smell or taste it through the internet.
  15. Doesn't look tasty or nutritious birds. Why bother? Jonoes looks like actual food. My entry: chocolate mousse I made yesterday to use up some egg whites.
  16. My grass is thick, so doing new blades and what-not. Taken the thing apart so might as well do what I can
  17. if youve got time, go speak to Eastern Turbochargers in bayswater (preferably in person) theyre usually by the book, but if you tell them its been done before (by reliable services) and GCG turned you down, they might actually do it. ...or just contact Hypergear.
  18. yeah, but are they taken into account in the percentage? how does the ATO know theyre unemployed? the only way i could think was if people applied for welfare and get knocked back. currently restoring a lawnmower: so much easier and cheaper than a car. Found a helpful website that basically said "Victa lawnmowers share virtually every part post 1984. they are still in production and parts are cheap"
  19. PM Kinkstah about his auto setup. his spent big coin on his auto. shift kit, TCU tune, full paddle-shift setup. loves it. handles 400rwkw with no slip (apparently) http://www.sau.com.au/forums/user/63726-kinkstaah/
  20. yeah pretty sure mine was only a few days (3-7)... was the first car i asked to bid on.
  21. anyone know the australian definition of unemployed? over the age of 18 and not working? any adult collecting welfare? any adult not studying and collecting welfare? 6.5% sounds surprisingly low from what I seem to come across... though people with degrees looking for full-time work in their field, whilst working in unskilled areas is probably a lot higher than that.
  22. Inb4 screened on the footy show as a joke
