  2. Odie has a fuel tank for sale.
  3. barra racing eh?
  4. 4L inline 6 turbo? you building a ford or something?
  5. Took 2.5 hours to drive from sunbury to rowville this arvo. Mostly due to the Burnley tunnel having a lane closed to half of it for no reason at all. And then this weekend is going to be spent cursing at the astra.
  6. I just got a cheap second-hand Logitech GT. Not as nice as a G27 but can't complain for $60. If you and Michael compete next week, should be a pretty full grid. Can keep me company at the back of the pack Best thing I did was focus on setup and tweaking FOV to suit my sitting distance from the screen. Really helped me judge braking distances
  7. Nice, that's better than me. I can't keep the 2013 Ford v8 straight when braking lol.The lotus 79 is the most fun I've had on iracing, it's wild and trippy.
  8. Iracing ain't cheap, just heads up. Can put me down if you remember my full name. Speaking of cheap, won a Y34 front strut brace of YJ for 3000 yen. Can't find any info on Google or the brand. Must be good.
  9. busy tonight, but next Wednesday is SAU round. better get practicin. all the small free cars are allowed but not sure which track is this round...
  10. you forgot the bit where entrepreneurs buy it back a struggling business for stuff-all then rinse and repeat.
  11. you'd love the pulsar gearset then. straight-cut 1st-5th. 1st-4th close ratio, then 5th long as fark. 200+kw isnt enough to get it chugging. its the only thing i would change about the drivetrain. the rest is mint. will give passenger sessions when its on the road.
  12. it cheeses me when manufacturers play with the gearbox ratios to get the quickest 0-100km/h times, and then lengthen the final gears for cruising. similar to top gear shaming cars for being too bumpy on normal roads, but take pride in being the quickest round the track. you're really not supposed to be encouraging car makers to use more and more complicated and unreliable systems to tick as many boxes as possible, make warranties harder to claim due to repair costs and also ruin aftermarket support due to complexity and cost. rant for the day.
  13. I just remember the ralliart motor winning awards and apparently being a good platform for mods. Never been in one though
  14. meh. "no frills". at least it has cupholders and comfy looking seats.
  15. get a ralliart version and use the money saved to mod the f**k out of it
  16. i see passed the huge offsets and ugly fenders. low, long, classy looking cars. custom interiors, minor cosmetic things like side indicators and head/tail light modifications. This certainly isnt in my taste, but its still pretty bawler.
  17. i've learnt not to email automotive industry people. unless interstate.
  18. ive really started to like how long-wheel base cars look limo length when sitting on the ground. i really wish people would VIP aussie long-wheel based 80's-90's fairlanes and statesmans. that way i dont have to do it. If i had the cash and effort, i would go bags though.
  19. pfft, japan VIP has been crazy for a long time. it basically defined the hellaflush/stance craze in the US. (which is a pretty shit craze, but the similarities are there). i used to not be a fan, but have come around to VIP to a fair bit. I would never do it to my car, but scraping and straight pipes are pretty hardcore. in a good way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4hDJrNKigU
  20. triple or none. twins are boring. Send me pics of the visors miguele and ill advertise them on the VIP communitay.
  21. VWL, need opinions on muffler tips: was originally going to go hidden 3" dumpy tip to keep it quiet and subtle, hidden behind the bumper. similar to stock (but less obvious): but saw this picture and now almost persuaded to do the same. though not sure if would go well with stock bumper style. +5 bippu points, but not very subtle
  22. just kidding. (except if done at nissan dealership)
  23. I can understand if it was a GTR...
  24. Yeah service kit is is sump gasket, o-ring and oil. If there is oil weeping from the side of the box then you'll need copper washers for the banjo bolts. Check my for sale thread a few pages back for part numbers
