I used to be obsessed with Porsches. Then I realised modifying cars could unleash a lot of potential on more affordable cars. Then I met supercar owners, Porsche owners and gtr owners. And thought f**k that shit. nah most are ok. But $50,000 doesn't get you much of a Porsche, you could do a lot of with a POS and it would probably be twice the car. Like the micra. Heaps of personality and fun.

im no turbo expert, but if you're concerned about compressor/turbine size, some calculations/assumptions can let you see where the motor sits on the turbo maps (roughly). some car info would be good for those curious too... firstly, your car is auto. secondly its a 2.8L stroker 25. thirdly, turbo size?

have bought from there. late last year was around $850 delivered for 12L. im not sure if swapping to normal auto has ever been done before. The Y34 owner who did it went RB25 Neo & auto at the same time, then sold it off. Theres also the choice between 4-speed and 5-speed autos (depending on what the box is off) and fingers crossed it comes with the trans ECU (and that it all works with your engine ECU). its a big gamble all up IMO, but i have a solid feeling an oil flush is not going to fix your problems. so +1 to get rid of the CVT.

i have done a lot of research and info gathering regarding the CVT box. use the dip-stick or drain plug to have a look at the condition of the oil. the oil is a light blue colour from the tin, i would think it would still retain a little blue tinge when in direct light. What is wrong with people? 1) coppers setup a breatho in dandenong today next to the dandy law courts. Block off 1 lane from either side, bottlenecking traffic on both sides and breath-testing every single car. Congestion backed up 3 intersections either side of it. 2) about 5 cars from the setup the queue hadn't moved in almost 5mins and I can see a copper getting very animated and frustrated trying to explain to someone how to perform a breath test.
