do you want manual or auto? turbo or NA? buying locally or importing? IMO chasers (especially around $10k) will be thrashed to no end. their interiors are pretty inferior to the V35. I havent worked on any chasers but V35's arent the most friendly if getting deep into the engine bay.

I could hear turbo spool so could have been turbo swapped and was sporting an exhaust. Probably flash tuned though for dat fuel economy.

so went to MiColour to discuss painting and fitting of body kit for gloria... learnt some things about the do's and don'ts of fibreglass body panels. but now its time to weigh up whether its worth the cost... can anyone recommend a place worth chatting to? im prepared to pay for quality work, but in Mick's words "How long is a piece of string?" can go very very long when trying to make possibly warped fibreglass "fit" nicely. (im preparing for the worst, hopefully it should be pretty good) on a side note, S14 at micolour getting the whole sha bang-a-bang has some serious money put into it. like so serious i couldnt believe its to be used a street car only. on a S14 that had hit a pole on the rear quarter. the fenders were made by Mick and will fit 11" wide tyres once some tubbing was done.

electrical theory is what i do for a living. think ive got it sorted thanks. and i dont get people complaining about laptops on inverters. laptop chargers are switched-mode power supplies turning AC to DC. the shape of the wave (unless its particularly shitty) should have little affect on its charging. my dad drove melbourne to Perth using a cheap 300W inverter for laptop, no dramas.

Bought an 800W one today. Not sure how well it will connect to batteries but meh, I'll work it out. Spent the last few days planning and getting stuff ready for camping trip, now the person hosting it is sick and whole thing falls apart day before leaving. What the duck do you do now? Me and the Mrs still go camping and have a mad NYE partying in the bush? Lame

finished building my new PC the other week. Micro-ATX isnt as small as I thought lol. back in my day, all PCs were this size haha. oh well, runs alright and is nice and quiet. the Fractal case is great, really well designed and solid. The silverstone PSU came across pretty cheap and nasty compared to my old thermaltake. Had a lot of f**king around with the motherboard to get it to POST. Wasted a lot of time trying to troubleshoot, turns out needed a BIOS update to run 4th gen Intel 1150 CPU's. updating via a USB stick is pretty nifty once you know how to do it properly. So the only thing carried over from old PC was the gfx card

i assumed he hadnt got it yet, or new motors were being put in... but srsly why sell a 1.9mil boat on gumtree. needs to save some coin? lol sailing that thing from NZ to Aus for delivery would cost over $5,000 in fuel.
