  1. small boat. or any of various small boats propelled by oars or by sails or by a motor hopefully have some resale with a keen 33 owner if i ever part with it.
  2. Speaking of plates... These arrived today with limited edition bends in them courtesy of straya post. (I havent actually seen them so the boss took a pic)
  3. This is true. Solve ecu options first, see what exhaust/injectors/intake/pump do... Then turbo (which will probably mean end of cvt) But i dunno if you can even properly dyno a cvt?? Obviously you can see tps, velocity, afr, psi, so you could make it healthy but getting a 1:1 ration would be hard. You can force it into "gears" but who know what ratio they would be if its variable.
  4. If y34 gets turbo upgrade... Hypergear is on the cards.
  5. Porsche design put their name on just about anything... Phones, shoes, watches... Its probably an undergraduate program to keep people busy. I can imagine people working at porsche for a few years and having nothing to do with cars.
  6. just arrived from japan, so must be good.
  7. Geelong bitter is where its at. Was at asian beer cafe for some reason and drinking their goku beer or some shit. $8.50 jugs, never going to complain. That plus 2 long island iced teas for $14... Things got messy.
  8. Racepace to open up a panel beaters? You heard it first at VWL

  12. Is it home time yet?
  13. Decorative corn is the best kind of corn
  14. Aim fir under 1:50 (which you shoukd have no problem)
  15. That looks pretty good....
  16. well queenslands gone all tropical up in this bitch. 40 degrees for last 4 days, gets cloudy in the evening and tries to rain so very very hard. like tom hanks in The Green Mile.
  17. I think so. Ecu's are different shape. Plus cvt would not doubt complicate things.
  18. Wolf can tune wolf. Aint no racecar, just a cruiser running on sugarcane.I'll get more in depth and discuss options once i have car and know a bit more about it (and the gearbox) I'll hit you up for exhaust, intake/intercooler/whatever is in scottys catalogue hopefully before the end of the year.
  19. Yeah i know about the biggybacks. NM35 ecu pinout is same shape as y34 det, not sure if many of the pins are common. If i do want to go down the E85 route, might have a word to Wolf ems since they have done a wire-up for an auto 25det stagea
  20. Yeah just did some reading up on it and not reprogrammable, so not interested. Theres no nistune as far as i can tell, but would an impul chipped ecu make it possible to use nistune? Ive spoken to uprev but i cant give them all the info they need (yet)
  21. Duuuuuuuude... How did you find about all the impul bits? That ecu is a great find.Yeah heaps of coilovers and modified air bag kits on YJ.
  22. Oh well there you go, i was always under the impression chasers were close to 1900kgs. The y34 was shipped for 1680kgs The green leds through the passenger windows is so awesome. Will need to put on some green undercar neons to complete the look
  23. i didnt say there wasnt aftermarket support for cosmetics... (but feel free to link some exhausts) just getting stuff like AFMs or ECUs or even coilpacks without paying a fortune could be problematic. at least nissan still make most parts for them. almost put on a better show than the 787b at WTAC https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10152477296201234&set=o.676423219103325&type=2&theater
  24. You should see some its cool hidden stuff. Bawler as f**k.Cons: Auto only. Second hand parts (is there such a thing?) ECU is in same league as M35 stagea; no one wants to touch them (except stagea has cult following to push for some aftermarket options) But at least its hella cheaper than a chaser (300kgs lighter too)
