if speed is all you care about, and beating your mate... get a SSS pulsar.

picked up a set of AudioEngine 5+ speakers this week. really happy with them. bit bulky, but much better than monitors + amp or having to check a sub somewhere. recommend. up top is very clear and crisp. bass is heavy but ive turned it down via equaliser.
