as much as I don't mind working a Saturday, I hate being that dude who gets über sleepy after midnight an ends up spilling drinks all over himself because cant even hold drink upright let alone keep eyes open. why can't people start early? then everyone can crash or leave at like 11pm? keep neighbours happy and get good night sleep without having to waste Sunday sleeping.

new wheel colour with the AD08's fitted. pic from a meet with some other PGA members. Winton didnt go so well... tyres were great, a vast improvement over the RSRs and well worth the extra money. Will see how long they last though. Something wasnt right with the car for the 1.5 sessions it was on the track. not sure what it was, but engine sort of collapsed whilst taking it very easy when trying to figure out what it was. So car is off the road again and might be for a while. Will get it checked out in the coming weeks and come up with the game plan. First session out, taking it easy, getting used to tyres and giving away to traffic... I had the camera exposure set up wrong so its pretty poor footageand was beyond saving in post-editing.

85k for teacher? damn got to be happy with that. (not saying you dont earn it, but from what i know usual pay is a fair bit less than that (depending on role)) just get a 5k SSS. if you want to mod, its cheap. service cheap. fuel efficient when you want it to be. your 20k you save will be much more worthwhile in deposit than on car that will cost you more in service and insurance etc.

Hmmm interdasting. Will consider it since things are back on the drawing board at the moment. Considering having a chat to racepace about my oil setup, i have a feeling that is playing a role in my issues. Namely flow pressure and circulation with the cooler.

yeah because springs broke, causing rockers to scratch, causing cam lobes to be damaged.all the while bottom-end bearing fails, rod comes loose, whacks the block and scratches piston an cylinder walls. would E85 prevented that and engine would still be running 100%? I think not. would the tuning required for E85 continually melt my external ignition coil? possibly. would the extra power/torque cause enough power/torque to destroy my headset? possibly. would the 50L fuel tank need constant jerry cans on standby? probably.

last engine didn't blow because of fuel... was just everything else sort of worked together to self-implode.

nice. do recommend. gave positive feedback and seems to know his stuff. struggled big time to book him in. he just chose to not rock-up a couple of times... however, we'll see what sort of damage there is in my engine first...
