  1. lol we'll have to pick some decent specimens, you know how picky alvin is about his meat
  2. Agreed value is $16k or something i think. My understanding is that its the same as comprehensive, but not covered if in an accident when driving on the road.
  3. Cause your car isnt worth $700 Its covered for its full value if stolen, damaged whilst in garage or in transit. So not quite 3rd party.
  4. hmmm shannons charging $700 for laid-up cover while car is not on the road... not sure if value or not. either way, still cheaper than the regular full-comp.
  5. Pregnant women do love food
  6. mmmmmm Bombay nights
  7. I reckon cops wanted to make an initial statement and then crack down showing 'results' from pull-overs and using that to sway what has happened.
  8. nice looking product. this dude is popular too and does lots of custom, but good luck contacting him and placing an order. everything is like a 5 week wait. http://www.saikoumichi.com/
  9. This si true. yet it doesnt stop them charging $25 for a main even though the kitchen uses like 4 ingredients. next monthly meet at Taco Bills Springvale for drinks. then wander over next door for half price indian.
  10. Chips are like the zigzag ones you get frozen from grocery stores. Though sauce is pretty good
  11. choice bro
  12. burrito. always burrito. in a bowl too if you're feeling particularly carbo-loaded
  13. what kind of noodles are those? look like 2min noodles swap for vermicelli noodles.
  14. also, making eggplant parmigiana tonight... though its more like lasagne. vegetarian, gluten and fructose friendly
  15. what was the outcome?
  16. 1) Start food blog 2) Prove over a few weeks your culinary skills in eastern cuisine 3) venture into the forbidden land of western food and cooking techniques. 4) Document and blog results/difficulties and cultural clashes 5) profit.
  17. have you researched what parts let go first with lots of power in micra? gearbox comes to mind (probably 120fwkw depending on torque, 150kw max).
  18. this. but also dont underestimate OEM. some can be very good and even superior to even the most expensive aftermarket.
  19. the little micra that could, rajabdamn. cant believe you got the fuel rail to work with those bits and pieces, usually they are a PITA to get different things to fit. Where did you source the clutch and flywheel? did they double the budget of this build?
  20. Dont need it checked out to know its bad news lol Only thing I could think of causing such a slow and subtle failure would be from oil surge/starvation. I'll get it looked at when I feel like looking at the car again
  21. i found out it was running through till sunday on friday evening... wasnt sure if i was going to make it or not depending on how tired I was after winton. was $25 spectator entry though, so a bit pricey, but fuill days worth of racing to watch. I'd rather watch it than go to F1's tbh.
  22. the fastest were space-frame, fibreglass V8's... some with NASCAR and Trans-am leftovers running 360 wide slicks. but was an SAU ex-tarmac rally 32GTR in the mix too. the rest of the day has 2 races from each series: MG's, formula Vees, some other open-wheels, sports sedans, sports cars, classic touring cars and old holdens.
  23. wandered down to sand own today to watch state and national racing series... seeing the sports sedans hit monster speeds at the top of the hill and run a 1:12 flat was worth the entry fee. rajabdamn
