  1. sorry Platts, mates N14 was SR20. try fb. lol @ bodybuilding forum members having feelings.
  2. hmmmmm maybe... when googling, just include pulsar.org.au and any related threads should pop up. Or hit up the Pulsar Group of Australia, mate of mine is wrecking an N14 pulsar Q this week. (ill ask him)
  3. you break one already? thought turbo wasnt on yet I only know about RS5F32a and RS5F70V boxes. sorry broski.
  4. myself and the mrs will be there. Thanks Ash, wasnt expecting a feed as well.
  5. entered because have been non-existent in championship this year + keen to give the AD08's a thrashing. hope the last drift/powerskid event at Winton didnt leave the track in too poor a condition...
  6. #clubreglyf #GTRownersclub
  7. speaking of fines... apparently getting caught drink driving for the first time is now a $4000 fine... ontop of losing licence, criminal record, breathaliser on car etc. such a money grab. its already a massive punishment for mis-judging/estimating-how-intoxicated-you-are-before-driving. why not introduce it for people who blow over 0.08 or something... "only a little bit over" yeah its still bad, but that tiny decimal place would be the most detrimental of your life.
  8. damn, sounds like fun (except for the sheep flu part)
  9. how about bringing sponsors onboard? penrite might be interested, as they are often rocking up to DECAs. Edit: having challenges like this 3 track challenge idea would look pretty good for sponsors. chuck their banner on the poster, goes on facebook, on the forum and other car clubs that are invited.
  10. if you want to play with engine design and have science help you out along the way... http://automationgame.com/ highly recommend it. design an engine (inline 4, inline 6, v6, v8, turbos), design the car, choose suspension, wheel options etc. still in beta. plenty of more content to come.
  11. cocaine in a can, baby come christmas time, i be passing out the sphincter of the universes like Nino Brown, baby
  12. i cant remember, but would make sense because there was stuff-all parking.
  13. crimping cables manually is for chumps. wasnt mine, but handy to have one around to borrow. weighs like 15kg lol
  14. Also in. now to sauce a trailer... and get new tyres fitted, and get wheels painted, and fit new rotors and fit new pads and and and....
  15. lol. christchurch CBD is as flat as NZ gets.
  16. Are these plans with WRX/another club? who would official and is it volunteer or is it part of track hire? Would the cars in the social group still get points towards the championship? I like both ideas. Broadford could be a good way to try it out... not many people have driven there and its not too much hassle to get to.
  17. my sisters bf just got a job as manager for the project of town planning for rebuilding christchurch. theyve start rebuilding some of it... as most were insurance claimed/government, but if the block of land has a height difference of 30mm or more at the ends then its has to be demolished and rebuilt a lot of the older buildings theyre keeping the front and rebuilding everything behind it.
  18. I keep reading that and it sounds pretty dumb to me. Something along the lines of 800 degree brake dust flying around plus hot tyres making wheels get hot too... Though they are spinning and cooling down, and the heat usually even (as oppose to section by section sandblasting) I am keen, and am interested, but im not even sure if the bronze can even be sanded off since its not smooth like painted wheels, its quite rough almost like golf ball dimples.
  19. anyone recommend a painter/powdercoater for wheels? not going back to A1 powdercoating in moorabbin.
  20. recommend NZ, but you'd want some cash to burn so you can do everything you want to.
  21. should have bought a jeep
  22. if there was only ever 49 (60 as of 25th April, before you could enter) available on the WRX website, means the other 71 were reserved for other clubs. Doesnt really seem fair, does it? unless maybe porsche are paying them for reserved spots because they got sick of AROCA?
  23. details. pictures.
  24. fitted a Bee*R rev limiter to car last week (for ignition cut, not for flamage), was trying to crack the case because people havent had them working on FWD SR20's reliably. It works, but cuts revs very inconsistently... Will do some reading up on fitting them to cars with EFI/distributor systems. Is that what the micra has? what motor is it? any other popular nissans?
