I did see Oil Search/Byron Energy/OEL been getting some news lately. Rising from their own news, but also oil price hitting 12month high. Not to mention Oil Search investing $400mil on the Alaskan north slope. and 88E securing more land earlier shows that they have their ears to the ground.

I've been thinking about why it's so accessible for people. I think because you can buy such a tiny fraction of the coin, there's a very small buy in wall to hold people back. It's not like a booming share that gets more expensive and harder to get in (therefore decreasing in daily volume). Yes the currency itself is all maths. But is it so different to think that the money floating around online and on screens is so different? So far the account creation and login requirements for my crypto wallets trump anything Commbank or HSBC use. (maybe not asking for a TFN, but certainly passport and drivers licence information)

They're investing big because big investment groups have jumped on board. Making it public they get a huge sum of cash. I'm not familiar with what usually happens with a new IPO starts. Will keep an eye on it though. As of this morning I won some Vertcoin and Ripple coins. the system seems simple enough. The system also seems very different from what the purpose of the currencies actually are! But open market is open market... just we all buying coins with no actual purpose other than to trade. At the moment its like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
