  1. Same thing. performance day at Sandown. I have a spot booked in on the 7th but not sure if car will be ready by then. I'd be happy to sell it to you for $200 if you would like it.
  2. The expense in the setup and steering wheel + somewhere to put it all puts me off. But by looking at the info, rFactor2 seems more up my alley.
  3. I was hunting for one last year and there were only several worthwhile options I could find, but there seem to be a lot more on the market now. Most try to squeeze as much into them as possible but charge premiums. Settled with the IDA-X303, and its a good unit but a bit pricey when you dont use the bluetooth functions. Try hunting for retro/vintage mechless player, might find stuff similar to: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/USA-4-DIN-RADIO-RETRO-STYLE-CAR-STEREO-AUSSIE-DEALER-/281113473349?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4173ab3145
  4. Terrific photo and a great car. look forward to seeing it out on the track again.
  5. why did I have the bowl Bart? why did I have the bowl? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERQV2vkI_fQ
  6. Wasn't mine, just chucked my camera on it before the battle. Was a pretty cool car
  7. got to test out my new camera. glad it was waterproof skidpan was definitely a pool
  8. friend of mine was racing a pulsar from Vic. Heard it was a good weekend, other than the rain.
  9. i looked into thi a while ago, and there is an original xbox emulator, but its ugly and messy and broken from what I read. not sure how many games are supported either. No idea about a playstation, surely there are still a number of secondhand consoles you can buy. would be lots of games available too. Or get a Playstation 2/3 that was backwards compatible.
  10. woah, how much? I could do with a natural centrepiece
  11. was at maccas in the way to DECA and there were these loud, stoopid, dudes yelling at each other with mouths full of food. and then they left and jumped into a car towing a skyline... awks. then check-in at motel and walk into our room to find someone on the bed watching TV... awks.
  12. pre-order = pay before everyone else
  13. its quite common actually.
  14. exactly. this is the first rental ive lived in with a dishwasher, and it used to rarely get used since i was so used to doing dishes. oh well... hey, dast ist mein hamburger
  15. just normal cerated knives, ontop of the 2-3 kitchen cutting knives. Even if I was home all day, wouldnt probably go through like 3 max. and if i did, I would wash them with the non-dishwasher compliant stuff so there are at least some clean knives for others to use.
  16. My housemate went through 9 knives yesterday. All are sitting in the dishwasher, doesnt wash any of them so that everybody has knives to use the next day or day after. She single handedly fills the dishwasher in 2-3 days. Apparently she eats something every 2 hours and that requires plate, cutlery, cup etc. I dont know where she has the time to go to uni as well as use up the entire contents of the cupboards. She basically lives off hard boiled eggs and sometimes leaves shell fragments on the counters. ergh. She leaves at the end of June thank christ... but then I'm left with the entire rent. In April she started complaining about how could the house was in April, because Swedish houses are double insulated with triple layered glass. pfft, 15 degrees in house is not cold.
  17. So car runs in that pic... why car no run now?
  18. why does GT6 need 1200 cars? Do we really need 12 variations of the miata? 30 different cars to choose for the micro car races? pick-ups? horns, hlemets, driver suits... B-spec in general! what are they thinking
  19. I didn't originally plan on going, but knew I would regret it later. and keeps family happy
  20. dat gown didn't get a hat. hat would have been cool
  21. that's what I liked about TAFE, rather than spending countless hours over the time of the course learning about how formulas transcribes to what we want to do with it, they just gave us the formula and said now apply to these scenarios... dodged a lot of calculus. we all walked away saying I can do that, but I can't tell you why it works
  22. I was in a meeting yesterday with civil engineers talking about how to dispose of oil an PCB contaminated soil. if te tests come up ok, they can mix it with 2% concrete and bury it on a side note, I got a message from a pulsar guy that he is currently importing a GTiR long motor from Japan that has been built with tomei parts and strokes to 2.2, and would sell it to me if I want it...
  23. last batch of exiges went from 180,000 to 110,000 in less than 10 months, and often the low volume sales with optional extras means that many are unique to Australia. eg. there are only 4 black exige S' in Aus. however, with the new in-house engine, servicing and parts will be interesting, really depends on how long the motor stays in production. also, I remember when at a DECA one of the Elise's damaged the fibreglass panel at the front, which was like half the front of the car. $10,000 to replace new. not sure how much a patch-up would have cost. but from someone who has seen, but never driven one, it's a great car for the mooney
  24. ARTZ's end of financial year Wax time sale.
