i had a ramble in another forum about why I enjoyed Fast and the Furious 1, so ill just paste it there cause its a slow night in the Vic wastelenad.
First movie you could say was the most "scene" worthy of the lot. Was all about Chrome, neons, decals, spray jobs, hydralics and NOS. It has the most interesting plot, the most basic action, and introduced a world (relatively) similar to real past times. Its easy to see why its the most popular and enjoyable. Tokyo Drift was the next closest thing to introducing a different scene. Different crowds/gangs, different characters and different styles of cars. However, a try-hard plot, weak script and CGI instead of stunts ruined it. Every other movie in the series has been about more plot, more action, more ridiculous scenarios and not about a scene or relating to real life whatsoever. The previous movie was a relief to see the return of real car stunts and an enjoyable plot (yet more ridiculous) and by the US reviews of the lastest movie we should hopefully see more car real car stunts and more ridiculous plots. Forget car scenes with these movies (IMO)
