torque steer is cooler than compression lock. Cool, been keeping an eye on your built engine thread. keen for updates!

my first time out was a 1:32 but expecting a significant chunk off with my new coilovers, proper alignment and practice. yeah rebuilt disco potato. Got a mechanical LSD in the 'box with straight-cut gears, which helps traction in corners. Traction is ok as long as you dont launch like a moron, but torque steer is a different issue...

Thanks Sandown next weekend, DECA in June, then hopefully PI, then Sandown again with Driver Dynamics in July. Thats fingers crossed my car doesnt die majorly. Which is a possibility.

RE customs moved shop to a few factories down. my run-ins with them over the last 12 months have not been positive. +1 for sabbadin, also Ace Dyno + workshop in clayton is round that area. Anthony is a good guy. -

I know a fair few people who have raced and prepping cars for the Pulsar Challenge Racing Series (much better than Excel cup) and I'd love to get involved. Looks like heaps of fun not being hugely competitve and relatively cheap to get going. Engine explodes? just get another one, clean it up and chuck it in. Very tight regs though, only thing that isnt stock or controlled is exhaust and cooling.

I'm aware it at the wheels, but my SR20 only hits 400Nm and it pulls pretty hard (IMO)... would only weigh 100-200kg less. N-S SR20's have many luxuries. like a gearbox bigger than a Christmas ham, and room for gigantic plenums and high mount turbos and external diffs and more aftermarket parts than Apple accessories.

I do not. seen review of the dead island series, seen footage, doesn't really interest me. the only zombie game I find completely satisfying is The Walking Dead (the QTE game, not the TV spinoff)

With cams (depending on the lobe design/size) I think people need to see it as less down low and more up top + less traffic diveability.

my steam in leroyp (i think) avatar is a traffic cone. If L4D2 is at a good price, get that. Still a very active community and one of the largest modding bases on steam with instant downloads of mods through that... tool thing they use. I'm currently playing Monaco, and thats heaps of fun with randoms or friends.
