  1. A friend of mine did work experience and confirmed what we already knew: working for the herals sun requires selling your soul. And unfortunately, I work with people who read the shit. I do know poeple who read it, just so they can point out all the errors and how misleading the stories are, which is almost just as bad.
  2. If Judge Judy has taught me anything, its that stupid people somemtimes do stupid things with some kind of backstory. Cousins aunties step-brothers mothers dog probably borrowed money a while back, or stepped on someones shoe or called someone a slag. Anyway point is, if there was some sort of personal involvement or the victim recognised them from kindergarten or if it was some sort of vigilantism (sp) the news/police report isnt going to mention it. Forced break-in of elderly lady? sure, probably pretty straight forward. Man stabbed in a supposed mugging and the muggers not taking anything and then being caught within 24 hours? theres probably more to this.
  3. just seems like people need them all the time. coilpack or jacket are probably the most two common nouns on this forum
  4. changing coilpacks should be part of a basic service for skylines it seems however, running E85 on distributor-style ignition coils doesnt seem to work out for many.
  5. Thanks to the organisers and volunteers, put on a great day. Little bit cheesed off about the wheelspin issues, some of us went as a comparison run for figures against other dynos but with them struggling to tie down the FWDs all we got was inaccurate results. They did offer for me to bring it back privately so they could spend some more time on it. Hope they sort out the issue
  6. reminder it's end of day light savings tonight... I'm sure most know, but people like myself who aren't exposed to media can forget. that or your iPhone will do it for you. lol @ HMAS skylimo
  7. couldnt drive across africa in that station wagen. Test Failed.
  8. Im pretty sure it doesnt have one... previous owner wasnt 100%, but said he's taken it to 8200 before. Which is much more than I've taken it to. 1) doesnt get pushed hard anywhere but on the track (not a daily driver either) 2) I drive it like a grandma cause ex-Pplater 3) doesnt have the kick of big turbo/RWD so a bit easier to monitor. 4) ive never seen anyone limiter bashing like skyline drivers do. It still amazes me how many engines still run after taking the bashings of repeated DECAs. mates of mine run these shift lights: http://www.ecliptech.com.au/ theyre prettyy cool
  9. what is this i dont even Next ugrades planned: shift light, rev limiter, Hawk pads. dollar dollar bill y'all
  10. fixed.
  11. How long between starts? Mine goes flat after 2-3 weeks (gel battery) so I suspect an electrical fault somewhere?
  12. hahahaha and what kind of message does that pose for female auto drivers?
  13. +1. I told them my budget and they only blew it by a little bit
  14. what was that about a FWD winning Vic Time attack by like 4 secs? oh and wasnt it a FWD that got the fastest time at eastern creek at SAU nats?
  15. the front headlights are next to impossible to remove. and so much of the car is riveted together. I have taken Nissan's repairable/removable approach for granted.
  16. haha working on the astra is a bitch, but they dont actually handle that bad! people track them too, usually the turbo ones of course willwood brakes
  17. lots of people cant be bothered with a gear stick. sometimes i drive the mrs' auto astra and its a nice change sometimes (mind you i drive an manual diesel hilux everyday :| )
  18. Path Of Exile. Not MMO (online Diablo w/ alternative art style) but good for wasting lots of hours and gameplay is not really grinding. Its in beta, lots of players (usually with Penis-joke names) and made in New Zealand complete with local accent voice acting.
  19. lol aquaman jizz
  20. i still keep getting Tony and Hamish moxed up because of the avatars. where are the colours
  21. sounds like I wont be the only pulsar... and it will top mine easily too. ah well.
  22. *NI$$AN GT Hyper have also been recommended to me, but went to Ace Workshop because it was closer
  23. such a catchy song and well done too. Tried all afternoon to remove the turbo pulsars oil filter. Its been relocated because oil cooler so got plenty of room but wouldnt budge. Bought a strap oil wrench and it just stripped the paint off of it. Its mounted facing the ground, so screwdriver + hammer method is a bit tricky. farken kents put it on stupid tight. checked spark plugs too... 1500kms and 1 track day old: black. A better tune and better injectors should hopefully fix it. It runs PowerFC for the guy who was wondering (cbf quoting)
