Borg Warner EFR Series Turbo's V 2.0
Leroy Peterson replied to Piggaz's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I remember SAU VIC pres Tony's red 33 having boost control issues, and for 300+kw required 2x large waste gates just to get it out. This was all under Racepace tuning/instruction. I don't know where they installed it, but apparently did the trick (though they don't use electronic boost control, but I won't delve into that...) -
V35 QUESTIONS!!!!
Leroy Peterson replied to V35 Lover's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Why do we need to convince you to buy a new car? Why do we need to convince you to sell your current car? I think you need to write down a list of things you are using your car for, then compare information (from google) on each car. THEN Google SAU threads about the V35's parts availability and maintenance requirements. Most threads are 7 years old because the information is usually still relevant. -
Project Cars 2 - thoughts/discussion
Leroy Peterson replied to Anfanee's topic in PC & Games Discussion
I know a lot of games have users catalogue their setups on each car. If you can't be bothered tweaking your own, it's always worth a Google. (I know it's shit, but quicker than figuring it out yourself) On project cars 1 I had it down that every car needed a few more degrees camber, a few less psi in the tyres, firmer rollbars and less suspension travel (stiffness). So I'd just wing it for the practice session and tweak from there. -

Why is there Victoria Secrets in every Aus international airport? I always wondered, then when Sydney was getting reamed by traffic control and every flight was delayed, people go to EVERY shop just for something to do. Then people buy stuff. I reckon those businesses only need maybe 4-5 disaster days a year to make their money

First experience at Essendon Airport... I didn't even know airports could be this shit. Even the tiny country town ones have signs

I think they're a bit harder to find, but much better option than the metal ones.

I can't make the AGM, but I wouldn't mind stepping up to a committee role in the Social or Motorsport Events, if required.

nice car! In Australia, the VQ30DD model is not allowed to be imported from Japan, so most of the english info on them is from New Zealand. There is not much information available. Isn't the Gloria a common import to Russia? I have come across Russian Y34 information on a few forums. http://www.club-nissan.ru/forums/ I thought Y34 ECU pinout was the same as NM35 (VQ30DET vs VQ25DET), but someone who has re-wired a VQ30DET ECU for a S14 build says its not. http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=492211 (he's also a member on SAU) http://www.skyline-gt.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=534054 This is Y33 ECU pinout (it could be the same) 1. I've seen a kit car with VQ30DET in it (very similar to VQ25DET). Z33 manual gearbox is usually used. Pretty sure it was running factory ECU, but not sure if it goes into limp mode with no auto gearbox connected. If money isnt an issue, standalone ECU and custom wiring would be the best way to go.

Get Nismo weighted shit knob. One of those poly-whatever ones (no, not the gay rounded ones with the flare at the bottom). They work gud https://shop.r10s.jp/auto-craft/cabinet/01322373/img57127548.jpg Hmmmmm not cheap, but comes with nismo sticker, which is worth like $100 anyway

Geez that is tight. Almost need drift spec tube frame front end to fit Well VK came in Y34 in America, so should fit Y34/M35. Maybe not V35 then.

New exhaust time for r33 gtst
Leroy Peterson replied to zackr33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Surely there are better (more reliable, better built) units than varex out there now? -
Edit: well they seem to fit in the LHD versions https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/433402-03-infiniti-g35-ls1-t56-build-thread-3.html https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-coupe-v35-2003-07/399282-ls1-conversion.html https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/372132-should-had-v8-brew__haha-s-lsx-swap.html photobucket strikes again

VQ's are pretty short, might be a tight squeeze front and rear of the block! For the sake of keeping everything Nissan, VK45 V8 please (or even VK56, plenty of info on those in the states)

If you find one in Orange, lemme know, can check it out. Lots of commos here
-
just checked car sales... VK's start at $7,500. $3k will get you a real shitter. After seeing a few really clean XF/Fairmont/Fairlane/whateverthef**k, i think they'll be classics. chunky tyres, low, those american style speedos. My cousins got a ZH Fairlane, and its actually pretty cool.

Is drift cat keeping her car? Throw them an offer lol Man, SAU is just filling up with people who have goals in horsepower or want to run X amount of boost. we need a horsepower ban in place. 'merica

Start a new thread and tell us what problems you're having and see if we can assist. Never checked, but assumed ECU pin out is the same as NM35 -

Y34 Gloria/cedric Owners Manual In English
Leroy Peterson replied to rb26stagea's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
ill send it now. Its not a manual, it wont help you with mechanical issues. -
Triumph was running last night. Needs a bit of a tune-up and apparently a bit noisy in the head/timing chain, but so far so good. Sadly the fuel tank is now leaking a little bit. And fresh fuel was coming through a bit dirty. Pommy car delivering on its promises slowly
