I'm trying to find out what year ADR required cat converters. Got an unofficial source saying cars 1986 and later needed one, can anyone confirm or verify that?

$160 car hire. $360 one-way airport drop off interstate 28c/km after 200kms. Ill worry about reimbursement later, just glad to be home. Gave someone from site in a similar situation a lift so was good to have someone to talk to. What did I get from it over other options? Bus/train didn't leave till this evening, arrive in Melb at 7am. Business class Qantas was $1200 and didn't leave till 9:30pm. First economy flight out of Sydney was 6am next day. So I basically got home the quickest method possible.

Mission accomplished. ~$680 hire car.

Yeah I'm happy for the place to get people interested but it's a double edged sword really. There are a lot of silly people out there will too much money to play with... Anyway, happy for the hype train to take over then I can get out, hopefully rinse and repeat.

I still need to find out if Y34/F50 is same as Z33/V35/M35... There's always small differences and wasn't sure how similar things were with M35 being AWD option. In regards to dual exit exhaust, I'm planning my system to split between the diff and the spare wheel well. From memory it should clear the sway bar. (3" single to 2.25/2.5" twins)

370z is ugly as sin and large for what it is. Aftermarket support is the only thing that's good about it, but only so much you can do with NA.

ill swap them around so that the longest one is towards the centre of the car, unlike the attached pic. and obviously I havent started cutting my rear lip yet... theyre big pipes, but the inlet is really small, hopefully fab shop can open them up a bit. Yeah a few lexus gearboxes are like that and some vauxhall/holden gearboxes. "the oil is good for the life of the car" and in some cases it's supposed to be true. But I know a few people who have done them anyway at like +150kms and noticed a difference.

Why would I want a sequential box? People never go into detail how much f**king work it is. Im not committing stupid $$ to the cars, just enough to get the cars where I want them. $1500 for muffler tips for the Gloria though hahahaha they were getting more photos than the car was at the Tuned meet, and they aren't even on the car.
