  1. seems like its pretty solid at 0.045. An order there will probably sit there for a week or more until theres a dump for no reason. still got a while to go. I'll sit and wait till after tax time. No more buying for me. Need to focus on my MMA gambling side gig. live betting online is quite lucrative.
  2. You need the Jaycar bluetooth OBD2 dongle. The Jaycar wifi models dont work with Nissan Datascan II or III
  3. You planning on any track days or SAU events in the near future? Otherwise I'm happy to post
  4. its like power/neg/rpm signal. Not hard. pulsar was not a typical setup, so i never got it running, but someone else with a pulsar did. i dunno. I dont need it anymore. so its $40 if you want it. Got manual and box for it, maybe 30cm of wire and its the flat type, not the curved type. its quite a good unit. can set custom rpm increments and will use lights to show battery voltage when on Acc. Also f**k this hotel internet. uses a Mikrotik router of some sort... using a release from 2015 so it cant be that old... repeated speedtests says everything is fine, pulls decent speed, but every 10mins or so it just wont load webpages. I had a download running and it was stable at 200kbs, then spiked to 1000. all the while google would time out. Owner says the router cuts you off if you breach 500mb in an hour, but i can barely use it for 5mins without problems.
  5. hey Leigh, I have one these lying around if you want it cheep for one of your many motorbikes. https://ecliptech.com.au/shift-i/
  6. yeah I think learning an instrument pays dividends when you're younger. Parents just get annoyed when the kid inevitably doesnt want to do it anymore. its an investment. But at the same time I have zero interest in learning any new instruments or furthering my music knowledge now, and have a disposition for musical theory. so no such thing as a free lunch I guess.
  7. I got no problems with hiluxs. just needs 5 or 6 gears and wider tyres than 205. I've seen enough Ford Ranger engines explode to put me off them... dont know how the new platforms differ from the old, but considering how well theyre selling, might it aint so bad. I'd still take a new hilux over it though. Lexus and hilux are probably the only toyota products I'd ever own... except maybe a Century.
  8. Pajero? Only came in petrol and aren't produced anymore... And you call yourself a country boy. Nope came in diesel too and still available new. It's just the same car since 2006... And rumoured be replaced by a rebadged Nissan offshoot.
  9. You never know, resale might be better with the Mitsu in a few years...
  10. Flat-brim friend who went from pulsar to S15, to wanting a GTR and then wanting a Golf... Got off his P's and then bought a HSV lol. Now post videos of him and friends doing prinny runs on weekends. The circle of life continues. I only know one other Asian with a V8 commodore. What happened to TurboDragon anyway?
  11. The only car that could possibly beat a Skyline is a supra, every one knows this. But it has to be a 2J with nos.
  12. Move to euros, yes, but also how many cool fast wagons are there? Commo? Dying breed plus taking on other tuners. AMG? Meh. Porsche? Supercar people are often headaches and have their performance workshops do EVERYTHING. Hopefully he provides some honest thoughts if it becomes an expensive paperweight. But I was reading that's it's pretty much engine out work for most engine bay things. AWD system contains a centre diff, so cat removal? Engine out. Leaking power steering hoses? Engine out. Also curious to see if direct injection leads to muck buildup in the runners a la every modern direct inj engine Also, looks like TV2 shares are heading for rock bottom. Voluntary Administration soon potentially..
  13. Trent/Cat's latest purchase got me curious about the RS6. dream car when I was younger, obviously doesnt really suit me now even though its a gigantic land barge. https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Audi-RS6-2009/SSE-AD-4383213/?Cr=5 $80k and doesnt come with a RWC, farkin lol. They actually sound like a solid car, stood the test of time for sure. People in the UK saying to steer away from dealerships and use german specialists instead, which is smart. Problems with active suspension, so people saying to just get coilovers lol Sounds like Trent has already made it a weapon. Also it cant tow, so its no Falcon.
  14. Are there any TCU upgrades you can do? Could possibly get someone to tune it for better towing.
  15. GTiR combustion chamber is also bigger, so will lower compression. How are you going to mate the head to the block? What intake/runners are you going to use? Not much is interchangeable. I actually don't think any of it is.
  16. Didn't you buy like a lamboghini laptop like 12months ago or something dezz? Or was that someone else here?
  17. Auto correct. My phone gets credit for that one.
  18. How many bikes you got now? Also grats on ute Simone.
  19. oh wow, thats super cool, but also a pain in the ass since its not an OEM cluster (or at least, is a modified OEM cluster). did any googling bring up zeitakuvip.com? we are a Aus/NZ forum for luxury imports, especially japanese. Other than pulling the cluster out and confirming the plugs are connected properly, I'd say your only other option is to test another cluster. It can be done, not sure how much of a pain in the ass it is. Also, the series 1 Cedric came with a white and green lit cluster, not the orange you have pictured, so there is 2 different colours, but its not digital like yours.
  20. You talking conversion to mechanical/lash setup for cams? Just means you can run aggressive ramp cams. Worthwhile for track NA motors but I really don't think it's worth the effort for turbo. My motor is gtir and you can't get rockers unless you go through Naprec (unless someone in the US (mazworx?) sell a conversion kit or something). I have pictures of the different rockers but no access to them right now. I think oversized valves to improve head flow would be a better option, since the DE heads don't flow anywhere near as good as the VE heads.
  21. Facebook does my head in 80% of the time, though it does provide the occasional solid entertainment. https://simplecapacity.com/2017/04/shocking-evidence-of-intelligent-civilizations-living-on-earth-over-100000-years-ago/ "If we are eternal, pure, positive energy how can we possibly believe all the crap we've been spoon fed from the bible to text books in school?" Website called Simple Capacity... I wonder if that's a subtle dig at their readers.
  22. What laptop you got? Informed boss that Microsoft don't support win7 any more and that very few laptops come with win7, and that nobody manufacturers laptops that suit old docking stations anymore... So he sends me a link to a laptop that was released in 2013, and says others are using them. Yeah, because they were purchased in 2013...
  23. I like how Dell can mark-up their laptops by $1000 just because theyre in the "business" section of the website. I can seriously buy an Asus or Gigabyte laptop with better specs in every department, or a "home" Dell with the same spec for half the price. But it would be an "Inspiron" then not a "Latitude" model. bah Latitude has been using the same architecture for like 10 years.
  24. so speaking to someone i know who is a JP at Springvale police station... older Vietnamese man comes in and says his car has been stolen. apparently was in a minor accident, guy who he hit (not sure who was at fault) said they had no insurance but will take the car to a panel beater and get it repaired. So the man handed over his keys and the guy drove off in it never to be seen again. It's easy to get on the *facepalm* train with this one, but man, I felt really sorry for the dude. Super friendly old man, who isnt used to dealing with the scum we come across and witness every day, and he gets reamed thinking someone was doing something out of kindness. f**k this gay earth. and the dude is probably too honest to lie about the situation to the insurance company. f**king swindling scumbags.
