GKTECH V3 KNUCKLES
Leroy Peterson replied to GUWOP's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Topstage composites S14 snapped one of GKtech's front knuckles clean in half at WTAC 2016 (I cant find the photo, but I do have one). Obviously a lot more pressure at high speeds and with Advan semi slicks, but apparently most of GKtechs stuff is made in China. (not saying they make bad quality products, just mentioning for anyone who thinks knuckles at that price range are made in Aus) -
rural, fridge was probably older than the house. maybe if the entire wall was black or whole power point was black would you worry. Martin turning on fridge for the first time:

Projects cars is heaps more realistic than GT or Forza. For console sims, Project Cars is the way to go. I've only played it on PC, but I don't there is much difference other than some graphical tweaks. I'd say theres no point waiting for the sequel if you can get the original fairly cheap.

What you mean?

Just got a gas bill more than 3x of any bill in the last 12months, the charges go all the way to step-3 off peak. Only gas appliances are heater and hot water. Heater is disconnected electrically and was serviced in winter. I was away from home 4 nights a week from Jan to Feb, then overseas for a month. I'm reading that sometimes gas companies to 'catch-up' bills if they get their estimation wrong? I'll check the gas meter when I get home, but if the figures are similar, ain't shit I can do? Went from 27MJ a day to 147MJ a day. No leaks that I know of...

1999? I remember that thing. The Matrix, Y2K, Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Try telling that to HR who filter the applications and weed out the ones who don't "meet" the requirements. Or trying to get through recruitment agency word search filters. All of whom don't give a f**k about references or achievements or milestones.

I was merely providing you with some insight

Nrma Vintage And Classic Insurance
Leroy Peterson replied to walkoau's topic in General Automotive Discussion
No under 25, if this person has only had their full licence for 12months. Got told the same thing by RACV and lumleys. Shannons also knocked me back until I was 24 due to having driver training and cams licence (min was 25 at the time) -
My boss, because he charges me out to my job title. When I first started in small business I was barely 6 months out of my time, so added a junior title, boss said get rid of it or clients will think they should pay discounted for a "junior"
-
Nah like I want to have it on my email signature etc. Boss can charge me out at a higher rate and I can get paid more
-
I hope to get Senior title when I hit 10 years in the industry... 2 or so years to go. Then hopefully people will take my resume seriously ffs

I actually enjoyed Black Ops on PC more than I did CS. 60 hours in and I was pretty solid in general matches, I loved a good aggro with spray n pray guns and a knife. I feel like the tactics in CS are shallow and dull, there doesn't seem to be any real adaptation, it's just the same old thing 50 times with teams alternating strategies over 15 rounds or whatever

Used to play casually. got sick of the lack of variety. same old same old maps/spawn locations/match types. There is no happy medium when it comes to online shooters. Its either extreme arcade/twitch shooter or full-on military "what the hell just shot me from 1.2kms away" games. Playing Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield (which recently revived multiplayer) the co-op is good fun. Arma is fun, though really need friends with you. Been wanting to try Squad, looks good.

Melbourne is a drive through the countryside compared to Sydney.... What a shithole

I'm working in richmond at the moment. Its a really filthy place near the station and no freakin parking anywhere, dont know why anyone would want to live there. Used to live in Burnley in a house, it was pretty good working tradie hours but on a weekend you needed to leave the house before 9am or else traffic is f**ked. Everyone says 10mins to the city from the west... never looks like that when I drive near the Westgate freeway or Bolte bridge or the tulla. at least once a week there is some moron caused a huge accident which makes people rage and drive even worse. Seriously reckon more worse drivers in the west. Even today traffic was f**ked in like 4 different spots all over melbourne. So glad my work in inner city is temporary.

VWL waiting for 88E be like I don't feel sorry for uni students. Now employers have the choice to ask for a degree education for something often completely irrelevant or that is their definition of tertiary education.most graduates be just as useless and non-uni people, but easier to weed out those without degrees via recruiting agency automatic wordsearch filtering

Got my new phone, Mi5S. Not bad. Dual sim is good, should make life easier. 1080 screen is nice, bit big but you don't really have a choice these days.

But it's just like everyone... 2+ $4 coffees a day, maybe a snack or lunch, min $50 a week on booze, go out for dinner min twice a week (sometimes eating at the pub is more expensive than eating anywhere decent) on top of rent, gym, living expenses, fuel, bills, loans, gifts, collectable nikes, flat brims, festival tickets, concert tickets, tickets to that show your friend has a part in, netflix, spotify...

A while ago I was googling to find the biggest/best quality CRT commercially available. and its like this 30" or something 4:3 behemoth. tables needing extra support to hold it up etc since it weighed in at like 40+kgs Obviously older people and collectors wanted them so they fetched about $600 but no one ever wanted to cough up for postage (why are PC nerds usually poor? lack of career drive from disinterest in work? poor social skills to leave good impressions? poor body odour?)

Sounds like usual V8 and Holden things to me. I would expect the same from Ford but Leigh is probably right

Everyone creaming their pants on facebook over a VF HSV Ute for $90,000. Even comes with an aftermarket super charger and 2 speed power glide. Great for towing a jet ski. 500kws and custom drive shaft... What is that, like 100kws more than factory?

Delete old for sale threads. Delete threads outside of technical sections before 2007. Delete whoretown/wasteland whatever it's f**king called these days.

Friend bought a property almost a year ago. single not-very-significant-income. House came with tenants, decides to let them stay instead of move in (sick of living at home, but who says no to rent). He knew the tenants were filthy, no screening process because existing tenants (how does that work?). Not surprisingly they pay rent late, lately not paying at all. Real Estate doesnt notice, so he emails the agent. Few weeks pass, agent says "sorry lol been on holiday, whoops, lets get this sorted". Goes to the Tenancy Tribunal people and sits there waiting in queue. Then talks to me about plan to use equity to buy another place in the near future. Have fun with that. meanwhile, miserable at parents place because sibling had a baby in a trifecta relationship (VWL-worthy SJW story that one) and the bread-winner wasnt a biological parent so when shit went down the parents got kicked out. Funny, but not funny.
