  1. was the car insured? 3rd party?
  2. say that when you 45. bonsai, golf, Bob Ross painting, wearing speedos at the beach during the busiest beach days of the years, clogging up shopping centres, blocking traffic during peak hour, water aerobics... theres just TOO much to do when retired.
  3. Fixed. Dont get me wrong, the RS4/6 is a cool f**king car. but goddamn, i couldnt trust spending $90k on an 8 year old, modern Audi with a lambo engine that has been "maintained and serviced only by Audi technicians". and by technicians they mean apprentices assisted by handbooks and instructions.
  4. RS comes with a front diff which is more than most sporty FF cars... I can't remember if it was like an electric diff or mostly mech. I like them but they bit too big and heavy for a "small" car. Probably take the Clio personally. (Not that I've driven either)
  5. the people i went to japan with, i was the only one who hadnt seen Tokyo Drift like 6 times and understand some reference with a snickers bar or something.
  6. Wouldnt be getting a bmw either, f**k that
  7. dont be ghey. then you'd say you dont drive it enough, then you'd sell it to buy bike becoz cheaper insurance/fuel/running costs.
  8. saw that car at Cars n Coffee yesterday. I was a bit confused by the plates. he never drove a GTR in the series... did he?
  9. dis is true. but limo.
  10. http://www.carsensor.net/usedcar/detail/CU5562529283/index.html?TRCD=200002 gimme gimme gimme slap a turbo LS in it. sell the current boat anchor/money pit thats in it.
  11. ahh that Life Support show used to crack me up. "people in wheelchairs gets sympathies from juries.... dead people don't" Sometimes I wish there were more Afrikaner people in english comedy.
  12. Yeah i believe the RWD DE VQ's are all the same rocker cover. UAE amayama takes forever to deliver...
  13. I've got a bit of oil on my spark plug on cyl 6 (passenger side), do you have a link to that rocker cover for $180? I've replaced the rocker cover gasket already, which stopped oil weep onto the turbo. Super strange with that long bolt piercing through...
  14. If you're home, a perfect excuse to watch Contagion
  15. I think this is them: http://kusaka-eng.com/engine/
  16. Thanks. GTR Magazine are either in partnership with a workshop or have some cars being restored by a workshop. It was a display of the work they were doing and had done. All of it was super clean.
  17. Meh, if they want to monitor my sending of memes and organising car or family meets, then they're more than welcome to. The socialist party council can add me on Facebook for all I care. Need those instagrum followers
  18. I'm not sure what you mean.... but yeah, Chinese phones taking over yo. My HTC is over 2 years old now and app updates have just made it a slug for running most things. Reverted back to factory default for what apps I could and they run much better. Don't think its worth spending much on a phone if constant updates render everything redundant in a short span, a la Apple. Considered the Nokia 3310, and it looks like the good ol' days of functionality but really need SOME basic internet stuff.
  19. Time for new phone. Think ive found what I want at $400 on ebay from Hong Kong http://www.mi.com/en/mi5s/#specs
  20. Osaka: Driving around with an "english" GPS was still a bitch in Osaka. figuring stuff out and trying to find addresses to locations and then trying to enter it in... not fun. Edit: f**k photobucket
  21. copy paste link in post (or paste into "Insert image from URL): .....aaaaand its working today :| well thats good. Thanks Prank yesterday was saying "there was an error embedding: error" and post would show a URL only. Happened to me the day before as well.
  22. So much car stuff to do in Osaka. Visited a few UpGarages, a Super Autobachs store, Trial, Junction Produce, and a Garson D.A.D. store. Osaka was also great for modified car spotting and car meets. Tokyo had more supercars and rarer machines. Went to Toyota Megaweb and Nissan HQ. Didn't bother with the Nismo shop or Nissan Engine Museum. The Nissan Heritage Collection in Zama was closed the week I was in Tokyo. Super upset about that. Info here: https://nissan-heritage-collection.com/TOUR/ You can apply for the tour of the collection here: https://nissan-tour.secure.force.com/heritagecollection/VisitSchedule_Page?fCd=101&tCd=1 After Tokyo I went to Takayama. It was beautiful there. Nice to get away from the cities. Quite touristy. 2 nights was enough to do most things. Then headed to Kanazawa, which was the most beautiful city I visited in Japan. It's a really nice place. Not many westerners, but always local/korean/chinese tourists. I had explored most of the city in 2 nights. Lastly Kyoto. Also really beautiful, but also very touristy. I kept away from the tourism and hotel hotspots. If you're happy to explore, could easily do 3-4nights there. Also visited Nara when in Osaka, which was amazing. Did almost all the sites in a day.
