Nissan Motorsport OPEN DAY & GARAGE SALE (SAT 17/12)
Leroy Peterson replied to DattoP510's topic in Archived Events
how was it? I heard it was mostly body panels and wheels for $$$ -
If you damage any panels or paint, you owe me repairs + final inspection detail.
-
both VIP club and SAU (hopefully). I was going to drive the pulsar. if anyone I trust doesnt have a working car then they can drive the gloria.
-
What else we gonna talk about? Alex got bored of stirring hamo up. Jonno, alvin and huy got jobs. Paul (i think?) driving his evo finally 6months till tax time. Im organising a meet at Point Park for 30th Dec. keep the evening free yo.
-
Thanks mang. 88E didnt reach 4.5, therefore didnt sell.
-
Watching 88E closely this week... If announcement doesnt come before friday i suspect a massive dump. Might try and pull 50-70% out before then if it hits 0.045 or higher.

Swirl pot is needed due to shape of fuel tank. Fuel return keeps swirl pot full so no starvation at high G's on low fuel. Are you going to do the same for your GTR? Im sure racepace would love you more if you did.
-
goddamn double post.
-
you ignorant RWD coupe fools. its not as simple as that. thats what the new fuel pump looks like in the swirl pot. i had to bend/slightly break the pickup to get the lid on. The old fuel pump pickup looks like this: except the pickup doesnt fit on my pump. I've looked for different pickups but couldnt find any. I really thought it would be ok at 1/4 tank....
-
There would have to be some sort of under plate with ducts on it... No way you'd want to fork out and have a speed bump take out 2 turbos. Pulsar update: all the issues i was having was due to not enough fuel in the tank. New fuel pump pickup sticking up too high and not getting enough fuel at 1/4 tank (when i picked it up from tuners, barely made it home let alone risk going to a petrol station). Wouldnt start in the driveway because its on an angle. Frustrated and relieved at tue same time...

i got one of these for christmas, had no idea they existed. its the handiest thing ever. camping, beach, festival, backyard. my camping chair is never going to get used again

Sparkies with more brain cells that most occasionally get a shot at doing what I do. It's not common though, and those that do often flunk it. You ask any electrician or electrical fitter in the power industry: ignorance is bliss. They just do what they're told.

Better than going to the unions bank account

Accidently walked off with someone else's kebab order in dandenong. I realised just after I grabbed it, got out of there fast. I'm sure people in Melbourne and Syd have died over a kebab before. Usually I'd think nothing of it, but this was a $17 kebab. Jumbo chicken with 2 or 3 sauces and cheese. Whoever has sweet chili sauce + garlic sauce with chicken and cheese must have had a rough childhood.

Sandown gun range is like .22's and pistols only. Group I'm organising has shotguns and bigger rifles.
-
well its costing me nothing to sit here and wait. speaking of waiting... TV2 back online. not much of a drop after being halted for 6 weeks, might be a good time to jump on. but, following my logic. probably a good time to sell. family christmas on sunday. then both parent's birthday 2 days after. havent got anyone anything. only in melbourne tomorrow and sunday. balls. might organise some people and take dad to Little River shooting range. reading through reggs and its nowhere near as flexible as it used to be. if you're not part of the club (licensed or not) theres very little you can do. pretty shit. how do you expect to get people into target and trap shooting? .22's at sandown gun range?

Do majority of adults even torrent anymore? So many people have netflix. Only thing it doesnt cover is HBO (right?)

Help With Buying A New Laptop
Leroy Peterson replied to GUN_METAL_GTR32's topic in PC & Games Discussion
Thanks. So metabox are basically clevo laptops with some customising. Found a few things where people recommend clevo over MSI and vice versa. Some say MSI have better build quality but worse battery life (havent found specifics on batteries but specs say 3-cell for metabox and 6 or 8 cell for MSI) Looking at the MSI options on scorptec there are a lot of options that seem same-same with minor differences (usually with GPU or memory). Price wise its pretty similar, i'd just need to cough up for an external DVD drive with MSI, but they include a 1TB hdd ontop of a 128 SSD (which might actually make life more challenging managing things). -
Martin is new VWL hipster. Eating at all those international restaurants youve never heard of

she can live with mohsen. save $$$. free kebabs and discount industrial cooking appliances.
-
88e is money better spent than a supercharger. profit off shares. pay off more mortgage. sell unit for 800k. rent in rowville with large garage for $1600/month. pay off gf's HECS and take 10% of her tax return or 2.5% interest per year (whichever is greater) cheezel engagement ring profit.

Help With Buying A New Laptop
Leroy Peterson replied to GUN_METAL_GTR32's topic in PC & Games Discussion
I need a new work laptop. my 3.5yro Lenovo is struggling to keep up and has served me well. Work software is very varied, some of it is really poorly optimised while some of it has never been updated since Win98. I would like to have something with decent grunt, 15" screen, dont care for touchscreen. Would like to play some games when away for work, so integrated graphics is a no-go. I havent used Win10 much, but will definitely be holding on to my old laptop for legacy software and guaranteed win10 issues. Some searching common brands was a bit fruitless and came across the custom laptop game. I really like this Metabox Prime P650RP. 15.6" FHD 1920 x 1080 IPS WVA Matte 60Hz LED NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 VRAM Core i7-6700HQ Processor (6M Cache up to 3.50 GHz) 16GB DDR4 2133MHZ (1 x 16GB) Crucial MX300 525GB SATA 3 M.2 SSD Intel 3165 AC Dual Band WIFI/BT (up to 433 Mbps) External USB Slim DVD-RW Optical Drive Win 10 Home 64BIT License & Media - Installed & Ready-Out-Of-The-Box 1 Year Platinum + 1 Year Extended Premium Care Protection Spare AC Adaptor 200W $2,300AUD delivered. (thats with not many optionals, and one downgrade) It seems like a great price. almost, too good. Does anyone have experience or recommendations for these boutique or custom laptop companies? Similar spec (some higher) laptops for other companies didnt get much change from $3k, so I'm a bit skeptical. -
Leigh just hang in there. Birds got you into this mess, so dont listen to him. be patient. the time will come, just dont get greedy lol

Its getting to the point now where i dont think we're too far away from the hype train. Ideally would like to pull out before mid-Feb but may consider buying back after march. Curious to know where the next base will be after the hype train passes through.
