  2. Spark plugs, coil packs.... Pretty much it really. Afm seems less likely, but heaps of things you never know.
  3. lol does this mean the wheels dont clear the brakes? gonna finally bite the bullet and get simmons? http://simmonswheels.com.au/wheeldetails.php?wheel=22-inch-simmons-om
  4. Japan tours (preferably in english) I am going to Japan in February for Osaka Auto Messe 2017. Will be with a group of friends in Osaka for about a week, then Tokyo for another week, mainly doing car-related stuff. I haven't booked a return flight yet because I want to do an additional week or so and get out of the cities (ideally to less touristy places). Some of the tours I've looked at (groups and self-guided) are quite pricey and include JR rail passes (which I plan to already buy myself). Another thing, it seemed a lot of the tours don't run in Feb. Can anyone recommend any particular tour companies or trips specifically? Ideally not leaving from Osaka since thats a bit of backtracking. Is it worth heading up North to enjoy Winter or going south where its not as cold? I saw an expensive trip to Hokkaido for 14 days, I would bare the temperatures if it was worth it. I plan to do a second trip another time flying into f*kuoka and heading to Okinawa area and island-hopping. TL;DR Need something to do in Japan for 5-14 days, in February Tour would be good (cbf organising more accom and transport) Preferably out of the cities (i dont ski or snowboard) day trips vs. multi-day trips Recommendations and experiences please!
  5. when ya bums a-leakin', you best seekin'.... roca-pads
  6. Nice. What pads?
  7. Tomei sponsored, so parts would cost zero. If you had a stock R and tomei gave you all those bits for free, would you install them?
  8. ...and then do what? glare at the drone menacingly and hope it goes away?
  9. Why wont cams allow them? Last time they just said as long as it has a back-up restraint or something to stop it flying around the cabin, then its fine?
  10. whoops, wrong link. what i was referring to: http://page22.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/l363476344 I grabbed a couple of brochures because there are so many optional extras for Y34 and you just never know what was available. it also confirmed a few items I had were genuine factory fitted or even dealership fitted. And cause im a top bloke, I scan them and share them with others for when they are trawling the auction houses for an example they want.
  11. i dont have a spare few grand to drop on this, so i might just start a go fund me. cause you know, others will get to look at and appreciate my car. http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w85837412
  12. did you start skipping leg day?
  13. use this website for comparisons to give you an idea of the difference: http://www.willtheyfit.com/
  14. What the hell? What are they going to do? Fine you for public gatherings without permission or insurance or something? Also, dat E85 fuel efficiency.
  15. problem solved. still cheaper than R32 A/C rebuild.
  16. Lesson learnt hopefully.
  17. They look R35, doubt they would clear any wheels smaller than 19's
  18. Of your premium maybe... Mine is/was 1100 full comp with limited use and only I can drive it. I'll take the $500 laid-up when it's off the road thanks... Trying to get the agreed value over $10k for a pulsar is not easy. With a falcodore Ute, they know they can void the claim when they find bald tyres with steelies on the back and 22" wheels on the front and no suspension in the rear.
  19. sounds like a decent deal to me.
  20. No coverage at all if driven on the road. Car fully insured when being transported (truck or trailer) and fully covered if at at a workshop and something was to happen. Plus full coverage if stolen (obviously). So to me it's got a bit more than fire and theft, but no 3rd party if driven. I don't get any days on the road, nada. I had to pay 3 days worth of full comp when it was running in November lol
  21. Yeah. 10% cams discount, multi-policy discount. I don't think I've got the 3 year no claim discount (f**kers). It might be closer to the 500 mark but defs less than 600. Market value for the car is like 3500 lol so all the rest is mods.
  22. Just cars don't do laid-up cover?
  23. 350-400, 16000 i think. Rowville, over 25.
  24. just to clarify, do we need to send an additional $10 for a licence or can that be payed at the track?
  25. You're right, I skimmed through it and saw the image.
