What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
Leroy Peterson replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
What's your budget? I know some nice wheels with Nissan-friendly offset for sale... -
You missed the VWL disagreement last week. It depends on what you're trying to achieve, and how tight your sphincter is. But I think we all know the answers to these questions, therefore you already know the answer.

most grey import finance comes from the dealership theyre bought from, usually? as far as importing through a broker... I thought the 3-4 individual payments make a bit more manageable than big payment upfront, but yeah personal loan I guess. Some banks offer loans specifically for cars, I dont see why that car has to be in the country or registered to qualify.

That's interesting. What insurance did the event have? Obviously running road legal tyres? Did TAC ask for any specific info on the bike?
-
Everyone seems pretty accustomed to the difference nowadays. Considering how many cars you see running them on the street anyway.
-
i think you can eliminate the noob part of both of those scenarios, because as many of us have learned (particularly martin lol) that tyre conditions are very important and even skilled folk can make errors. At the end of the day, no one is forcing anyone to donate. there are plenty of gimps on gofundme and patreon and stuff that are just looking for a payout. and if anyone wants to give their money, well then thats their loss. hmmm maybe its a good way to launder...

100% of money raised, which means they got $2500 since last night. looking at fb someone asks: " i was under the impression that when events are help at race tracks and the organisers have to organise the insurance (aasa etc) doesn't that cover things like this? " Which is a semi-warranted question, but also a bit ignorant. Response: " AASA/CAMS insurance for is Public Liability + ambulance costs @ the track; it doesn't cover medical transport from track to hospitals and other medical expenses. Unlike an accident on the road, the TAC also won't get involved as it is not a road accident. This is why it's important that all participants read the conditions of what you're signing on for and are aware of the consequences of the activities we choose to participate in. " the plot thickens....

yeah im not one to donate to things unless there is like a personal reason or someone I know is making an effort to support something. for eg a friend doing a run for beyond blue. but funding someone else's mistake... its like if i get caught drink driving and then ask others to help chip in for the fine because i got no money.

what the hell?? how is it even attached? looks like a piece of paper getting caught in the wind. https://www.mycause.com.au/page/136076/lances-and-jasons-recovery

sounds like 2 guys were in a decent accident at winton over the weekend. they got airlifted from the track. neither had ambulance coverage... people are chipping in and doing fundraisers to help cover the cost. Discuss. Obviously its terrible, im glad theyre making a full recovery. I'm not surprised, but I also think its pretty silly that people will fork out for all the expenses that come with tracking a car yet not have ambulance coverage, or at least some sort of health insurance. or is this some of that $60 helmet - $60 head sort of analogy time?

ive been revisiting 90's industrial/goth stuff lately. like John Travolta's haircut in Swodfish

Melb - Nissan/Datsun/Prince/Infiniti Day 2016 Yarra Glen Showgrounds. 8am-1pm. $10 entry for cars, $2 for spectators. All money will be going to charity. Last year was a good day. Lots of classics which is great to see, and even just a good excuse to go for a drive.

results aren't due until late October/early November. buckle up your seatbelt dorothy... cause the price, is going bye-bye.

Hot Copper is pretty funny sometimes. First they were blaming the down-talkers. Then they blame the poms. Then they blame the day-traders. Then they blame peoples lack of faith. Now they blame the chinese.

Dw the meeting in London on Friday night went well, hence the price drop today. 88E is all about unconventional oil, hence the large number of unconventional investors. Or maybe the board just talk heaps of shit and only the vocal ones believe them lol
-
Havoc fabrication had twin charged on their stagea. Ditched it and went sequential turbo instead, never looked back.
-
my hoseclamps used to come off, so wiped them all with degreaser to get rid of oil residue. worked a charm
-
not my style, but cant argue with that price http://page21.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/j404631818 Birds, time to move on from D1Rs UFC203 on this weekend. Will make up for a stagnant 88E week. Dolla dolla Bill y'all.

Youre meant to be talking it up sky high. Or is this your actual opinion now that youve sold out? Im sure the guys on HC would be pretty disappointed in you.

learn2trade m8 88E london was up 10% last night, finished at 8%. Should see a solid start on ASX this morning, hopefully will keep chugging a long as no one this week has been wanting to buy over 5c. Personally, I would try to get in quickly this morning before it hits high 4's. There's a meeting tonight in London with the exec's, some info may come from that but cant imagine it moving big numbers. but wtf do i know, any good news and people seem to dump their shares.

i'll be sure to recommend the PowerFC to Daz for his 1000hp street car

i dont hate it. I just think its poor value for money. I dont get how so many second-hand ones sell on SAU. I struggled to sell my GTiR one because nobody wants them (even though they can be used on any FWD/AWD SR20), and they're discontinued too. They're archaic. They're from a generation of japanese products that required you to have a $2000 Defi gauge setup to monitor/display information that almost every ECU can do itself now. The Autronic I've switched to now is still pretty old-school but reading the manual and some of the parameters that can be tweaked or programmed is pretty exciting. I think I read someone here describing a PowerFC as a stock ECU with a piggyback unit built inside it. Sounds pretty accurate to me.
