there isnt anything wrong with powerfc. i retained mine for so long because it was basically the only option. i didnt have a stock ecu to put a nistune into. but i feel i've seen the light. it shocked me earlier today to see you can still buy powerfc's brand new (for some cars). ever since haltech took on motec's pay model, its hardly value for money. mind you, every time I've asked someone "why do 90% of professional motorsport teams use motec?" the answer has always been "because they're the best" *queue Tina Turner* and whats with haltech and CAS disc issues? (i know the disc is a POS, but does it work or doesnt it?) Matt do you only chime in on SAU when you feel like arguing with someone?

not all of us have the luxury of just googling a place that does off-the-shelf engine looms for conversions. or heaps of choices for plug'n'play ECUs. but if someone wants to spend $700 on half a loom and use a PowerFC with AFM... sure, go ahead.

its funny how 10 year older lexus' have most of the luxury features this does... and some of the VIP guys are fitting similar luxuries and its truly budget modifying in comparison to performance mods. whats your budget? that kind of stuff isnt cheap... LED and halo rings is one thing, full cut-n-shut Vulcans or projectors is something else. You chasing full-professional workshop or dont mind garage/side-project stuff? damn cats running wild these days. i think the hippy should be re-introduced as a control measure.

That looks pretty good, but all those ECU options are like 10+ years old. And it uses factory sensors (which belong in the bin)

Mine was too. dont be a pussy and get one of those made-in-someones-garage-without-seeing-your-car kind of jobs. go full custom, mill-spec, all-out. pick any ECU you want, any features and sensors and functions you want. best thing I ever did. If anything, I regret not getting a more feature-rich ECU and more functions (but funds at the time were limited). But now its a piece of piss to go a totally different standalone ECU if i wanted to. 88E in pommy land slumped last night, today probably isnt going to be solid.

pulsar will be on the road before the end of the month. you're not getting a 2017 GTR so you might as well do something...

Just an update on this translation document, I've gotten my hands on a Nissan Japan manual for the radio and navigation system and a number of other booklets/brochures. Updating it isnt my biggest priority, so I may just scan the pages and upload them and people can use google translate once they find what they need. I'll post a link here once its all scanned.
