  1. Measure diameter, measure width, Google how to measure offset. Sell for $400 with tyres. - profit - get replacement wheels - negative profit
  2. Inb4 Leesh doing 12hr days erryday at school
  3. Tyres only get you so far before it becomes more about setup and chassis
  4. Is the rattle definitely from the engine? Does it happen when in neutral, parked, with someone standing in front of the motor with the bonnet open?
  5. She recently got a payrise and every cent of it went to hex or she gets footed a bill for the same amount at tax time. Luckily hex is only $12k or something. Salary packages $600 a fortnite onto a debit card for some tax dodge and that's about it. She is working in a lab doing science stuff which is good, you stop doing things related to science and I think you drift away from the field eventually.
  6. I don't have hex debt or car loan except VicRoads and Shannon's are like loan sharks making me an offer I can't refuse... Dat $50k annual scientist wage - $75 a week parking - $4000year hex
  7. I'm not looking to buy... I'm still saving and Mrs doesn't earn enough to save a deposit... Good luck with the move. Also lol @ saving for deposit in 12 months plus buying road bike. You doing cashies with dezz or something?
  8. Try searching for 350Z coilover conversion kits. They come with an arm to delete the spring perch. I do think the strut area is strong enough to support the car, however being a wagon you probably wouldn't want to put 500kgs in the back or tow a trailer.
  9. So Unreel moving house again... Flogging off the bike too, dayum. What's the goss? I'm looking for a new rental soon, could be good timing as there seems to be lots of people with empty houses asking too much at the moment. Requirements are: within 1hr public transport from Melb Central or Royal Children's Hospital, min. 2-car lockable garage, min 2 car driveway, min 2 bedrm, easy access to freeways, isn't west side. There's a few suburbs that are options but being so spread out makes it hard to search...
  10. You'll probably notice a difference, upgrading from. A T51. But for everyone else HKS isn't even on the radar for turbos anymore.
  11. Anyone who thinks mods cause too many road accidents needs to have a look at the mortality rate or LTI's of motorcycle accidents.
  12. Stock temp guage for anything... Well there's ya problem
  13. Have you checked to see if your oil thermostat is working correctly? Is it hooked up correctly?
  14. Does the kit recommend locations to attach them to? Just curious
  15. Thank you for listing a price. I think you should make a new thread in the forum Cars For Sale section, the state sub forums do not get as many visitors.
  16. You must list a price
  17. Just chimeing in to say that Y34 Gloria's/cedrics did have an AWD model with RB25DET. As far as mounting, i would guess it's a unique situation because chassis is half unique and half 350Z/M35 platform.
  18. I've done the same thing before, except for a magazine in Japan that fits a bunch of wheels and takes photos, telling you the sizes. Its never as simple as just putting the wheels on. Don't believe them.
  19. Japan charge for displacement and reported power, in their rego, I think? Older cars, more displacement, more $$$ to keep on the road
  20. I want to keep both my cars but having them, plus work vehicle plus partners car makes finding a house for it all difficult and/or expensive. I'm not wanting to think about selling either of them but paying rego for the pulsar is depressing every year. I would let it lapse but it would never get roadworthy to be registered again. If it ever becomes eligible for club reg, doubt it would pass that either. I don't want to have to trailer it everywhere so means I gotta pay the price. With V12 centuries being eligible to be imported soon... It's super tempting to upgrade from the Gloria (as the century was always the dream but not possible). But it would be another project, even more $$$ plus V12 maintenance. I'm sure once they come down in price as they get older in Japan, there will be many floating around in Aus and lose their appeal a bit. But yeah, f**k cars. Should have just collected stamps.
  21. 88E's big shot was Icewine2. Now it's a long path back, trying to gain funding to continue. Hopefully news of conventional farm out goes ok, but can't rely on it. Next major works is something that's a small % ownership of, which is progressing slowly. Finally, over 5.5billion shares is just Ludacris. Will they consolidate once they have income?
  22. Lol stock RB26 is probably less reliable and more $$$ to get more power out of than RB25 (even with single turbo). I reckon get your current motor checked out, or replace it (depending on engine prices/shipping for you)
  23. M8 it's about diversifying Cant put all money into shares. And I'm also gonna pull 80% out of 88E when it hits a point I'm happy with (maybe 5c or so). After seeing what oil search can achieve in Alaska with $400mil behind them, 88e just wastes my time. They built roads, pad, rig, the whole shabangabang recently, after acquiring a position last year and looking to spud by February.
  24. Not my kind of thing but looks better than regular R32. Fight me Though I am getting Mitsubishi vibes from the front end.
