  1. so much white... changed to default theme, its a bit better.
  2. just read up on the beliefs and policies of the Liberal Democrats. some interesting ideas, but overall seems to have learned nothing from how 'murica operates. 'murica. summary: Privatise just about everything. Free media, free speech, pharmaceuticals taking over the country cheaper childcare less tax no minimum wage, retain OH&S standards, but thats about it. No on-going foreign aid No benefits for Torre Straight Islanders or Aboriginals legalise the ganja smoking indoors less national standards, and focus on competitive states basically, government spending would be more than halved, but a lot of stuff would go to shit. Pirate party seem to be on the money with most things, but dont really bring much new to the table other than internet and privacy. Sex party seem ok, albeit more of a muchness to the major parties. dont like their policies for assylum seekers, but interest in nuclear energy is good.
  3. cop it sweet I say. put First Aid Officer on resume. receive training every year on company expense. if you're not the only one in the company with it, ask the person if they get anything extra.
  4. Ricky Muir comes across in a Palpatine, ulterior motives kind of way, but you cant argue with logic. and when he opens his mouth, he doesnt make a fool of himself or talk utter shit while dodging questions. yet to look into sex party. might read one of their pamphlets tomorrow while im handing them out
  5. yeah i know PayPal makes its own rules.
  6. How is it any different from American express? (Other than not being a gentleman's club for elite beings)
  7. I can see why PayPal is going to become a force to reckon with outside of online transactions.
  8. because card companies/banks make a lot of money on interest and card/account fees. then Visa/mastercard market how amazing they are because theyre available in 700billion locations across the world. and yet 75% of bakeries and local fast food places I walk into only take kesh. not to mention the hundreds of dodgy bars. i very rarely carry cash. i dont know how the system works, but wouldnt a one-off payment on setup of the machine and service (+ regular phone/internet charges) make it more attractive for shops to accept the cards that the banks want you to use? but then they dont get regular income from business and most of the time the cost is made-up for by the consumer.
  9. I blame Asians. If they didn't pay with cash so often the fees would be taken into account of the item price. The card companies charge fees for the right to accept their card? What a strange world we live in. I'm sure visa, MasterCard etc make plenty of money with that trapezoid scheme
  10. Total tools do. Scorptec has a surcharge for anything except cash and eftpos. Not sure how they can justify that. I think a lot of fast food and restaurants do too?
  11. most transactions dont come with a 2-5% surcharge with use?
  12. Ashneel sold his crown and there's rumours of moving to a Cedric... We shall see.
  13. Moh, found some wheels for R32 http://page19.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x450146849 I prefer these though: http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k217305844
  14. thats a ridiculous amount of money. but with how many skylines are getting stolen it's probably not unreasonable. I certainly dont think its worth it, unless you expect it to be stolen or smashed? 1) get insurance quotes before you purchase a car 2) dont get a cop/thief-bait car until after P's. Unfortunately thats the way of the world now.
  15. So credit card fees and amex surge actually paying off Leigh?
  16. hows your e85 going?
  17. he tunes his own cars. jus sayin he's been using E85 since the early days. like before available at the pump.
  18. Death by fumes in the car? Yeah I know it's never that bad, but it gets pretty bad when there's 3+ big ones inside the cabin
  19. Abe from Havoc was talking me into E85. and if my engine runs or at least sounds healthier, then that is great. i wouldnt run it in a "throw as much boost and timing into as itll go" because ill have to back it off at 300. im considering doing a conservative 98 tune, see how it goes, find issues/weaknesses. then getting a separate E85 fuel map/tune made a la Birds. tow truck driver last night tried to talk me out of E85 lol. complaining about how much fuel his subaru chews through and contaminating oil super quickly if not brought up to temp and just short drives or moving car in and out of driveway. plus i really hate the idea of having to bring multiple jerry cans to a track day.
  20. greg. whats your experience with E85 now?
  21. 2.3L boost over V8. Instead of waiting 12months for the V8 you could have well over that power from the 2.3 in a few months.
  22. I wouldn't worry about the exhaust. You would probably gain a lot from a custom system anyway. Just a pain in the arse freeing bits with seized/brittle bolts from the surface rust. $200 for someone to put the car on a hoist and have a good look around is a wise investment. The money you paid for an odo check has already saved you potentially thousands.
  23. was the bluebird supposed to make it down? issues?
  24. pressure sensor on brake lines is pretty cool. sorry to ask, but can you run through your fuel tank setup with the valve/breathers?
