if going barra why retain the skyline? i cant imagine telling people you run a 2 speed powerglided, 4L barra skyline would be an enjoyable experience. skyline is lighter? just get a VL m8 or just get anything lighter than both and whack it in.

Or decent wheels for under $500 + delivery. I bought chrome side mirrors (full assembly, not just a cover) with indicators and LED puddle lights for $85AUD. you would need the TCU to go with the gearbox at a minimum. and thats if all the wiring lines up and is a straight swap. whether its the right size/length physically, need to find out the hard way. doesnt sound like a job for a daily unless google provided some more info. wouldnt hurt looking at the nameplate on the firewalls and comparing the gearbox codes/model numbers.

Just at tyresplus (or something in Richmond) they supply most of the Michelin and Pirelli slicks for the carerras cup and some Porsche gt3s. They have a truck of 400 slicks going to the next race meet... Most of the used slicks they get have heaps of meat on them and sell for like $100 a tyre. Maybe I'll try fit some 11" wide wheels on the pulsar.
