  1. Ash - personally I'm pretty bummed for time at the moment, but I've had customers take the Conti, F430 and R8 to Tassie in the past. When were you thinking of going, I can look at what is available and perhaps suggest the idea to some members?
  2. Went to visit my new baby today. Should be in my loving hands by the end of the week. Aw - so pretty... (for the trainspotters... Maserati Gran Turismo - auto, 20" Birdcage's, Grigo Granito over Bordeaux) Hooray
  3. In a word. No. You're not. However, you can say you were the first person ever in Australia to scratch one. Surely that's worth a shandy at the pub?
  4. .AI = Adobe Illustrator .EPS = Encapsulated PostScript .CDR = Corel Draw EPS is the industry standard. You can export to EPS from Photoshop. I'd recommend 150dpi as a starting point. 72 will suck. 300 is better. And anyone using Corel Draw should just take a good hard look at themselves and give up on design right now.
  5. OK, going now...
  6. Kids - before you all get too carried away in MS Paint... You need to set up your file to the required print specs. This way you wont spend hours on a masterpiece that will pixelate and look like an R31 when printed full size. Also you don't need to worry about creating the artwork as an EPS (vector) as most printers will take a hi-res JPEG. You just need to work at the correct size and resolution. Poite: give me the details from the banner printer people and I'll set up a template in Photoshop and Illustrator at the correct size, with all bleed/crop requirements built in. J
  7. All the best Ben - and Happy birthday Scratch!
  8. Hehe, that's an ace pic Bec. The real James Ward will come over and say hello to you chumps tomorrow
  9. Hehe - I may be younger but certainly not wiser And married... woah!? Didn't see that one coming...
  10. Was working - shit day. Stupid hoon laws... BUT made much better by lunch and coffee special delivery
  11. Parking the Mac on the street like that - so cool! What colour was the F430? Timbo was down today and used CEO privilage to swan around in it, enjoying the Melbourne sunshine
  12. The new SS Bentley Brooklands was setting sail in Doncaster today. Ahoy! (just like this one)
  13. I'll book you into the Arnage now shall I Kam?
  14. If you can justify car hire or car usage as a business expense, then your membership is tax deductible. Some people can run 100% through their business, some 50% etc - check with your accountant.
  15. Thanks kids - Alistair is in town and my sisters come next week so is pretty cool to have the whole family together at this time of year. And yeah, 33... yikes. I do feel a bit old today. I stole the F430 from work to lessen the feeling though. As Ferris says, they are so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.
  16. Sunshine - been there, done that.
  17. Snowy gets 10 out of 10. Being new (or near new), all our cars are covered by warranty and 24hr roadside assist. Something we NEED to have for 'just in case'. Some of the other clubs around the world run both classic classics and modern classics - but it's not something we will do any time soon. That said - Mustang wise, we can look at the new GT-500 Shelbys
  18. Never before have I seen such evidence of the effects of the Hollywood writers strike. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Writers_..._America_strike Since when have the FBI got such free time to go on an NS cruise?
  19. Just strap 4x Evos together. Cheaper and more powerful. Plus it's 16-wheel drive. No cheese eating surrender monkey can do that with a VW

SAU forum foodchain rules dictate that Lada content > misc video content
  21. I think spewing into a bucket and ending up on YouTube is pretty decent qualification. Just leave the Prius at home and bring a real car this time
  22. Sam - we asked members if they wanted a 599 or LP640, and they chose the Ferrari. That's not to say we wont get one though - just not right now.
  23. Worse yet - when you do the right thing and pick the GF up from work in a DB9 Volante and she whinges it's too hot and why didn't I bring her Audi A3...
  24. Ah-ha - Nick saw it in Adelaide. This is the VICTORIAN Supercar Spotted thread. I saw it in Melbourne. Therefore - I still win on a technicality. It's the Australian way.
  25. You should go for a stroll and look at it tonight TB - just down on Southbank Blvd. The cowls and spoiler give it a very aggressive stance. I like it.
