  1. Best wishes Jet. Please make a speedy recovery. Try to keep your hands of the nurses.
  2. We should try to arrange some designated driver/car pool type thingo. I can give lifts - and can lend the Niva to another over-25 driver sans car - to do same. You want to open this up to general population? There's alot of keen people who don't have access to this forum.
  3. Heh heh Wai Wai - always an eye-opening read! http://mdn.mainichi.co.jp/waiwai/
  4. Felonious females fellating their way to fellas' wads September 27, 2003 Pickpocketing cases have increased throughout Japan in recent years, but the percentage of women resorting to this timeworn technique has fallen. However, rather than being a case of crime fighters striking a blow for justice, the downturn is more a case of felonious females dealing out some blows of their own, according to Shukan Taishu (10/6). "Pickpocketing used to involve a thief stealing a wallet at the precise instant they bumped into somebody walking along the street in the opposite direction," police affairs journalist Akio Kuroki tells Shukan Taishu. "But now, growing numbers of women are seducing men and stealing their wallets just as they have lured them into a relaxed mode." A man we'll call Akira was set up while celebrating a soccer win with a group of friends as they hugged other supporters. "This group of about 10 South American women, all of them with nice bodies, came up and started throwing their arms around us. The women gave loud screams and started to grind their hips in a dance around us. "One grabbed me and thrust my head between her breasts. She had no bra on! I was counting my blessings even as my breath shortened while she held my head tightly," Akira tells Shukan Taishu. Little did he know, the woman had slipped the wallet out of his pocket and it was being passed along to her friends where it would be whisked away from Akira forever. "After they left, I was sort of mystified and wondered what all their act had been about. It took ages before I finally realized she had robbed me." Another man we'll refer to as Bunta thought all his dreams had come at once when two girls he met through an online dating site agreed to meet him for some fun late one night at Itabashi Station in Tokyo. Within seconds, the women started working on him, dropping his trousers with one ministering to him from the front and the other massaging his most intimate parts from behind. "One of them told me she'd give me some special treatment and, just for a few seconds, performed oral sex on me," Bunta tells Shukan Taishu. Bunta's beauty worked her magic and he erupted. While at his most vulnerable with his pants around his ankles, the girls told him they had better leave separately to avoid being spotted. In bliss, Bunta agreed and the girls left. It was only later that he realized while one of the girls had her mouth full, the other's hands were free, giving her ample opportunity to pilfer his pockets. "It was only much later when I went to buy myself some canned coffee when I realized the wallet that should have been in my pocket wasn't there," he says. "There was about 20,000 yen inside it. They were much younger than me, but they taught me a good lesson that came with a hefty tuition fee." Shunta, as we'll have him known, was stumped while riding home drunk in a deserted carriage of a late night train to his home in Kurihama, Kanagawa Prefecture. He lay down on the train seat as a beautiful young woman walked down the carriage aisle, sat on the seat opposite him and stared at the 46-year-old computer software company manager. "I finally realized she hadn't taken her eyes off me. I looked back at her and her smile turned into a lecherous grin. She put her hand on top of my zipper and slowly drew it down," Shunta says. "While she rubbed around, the excitement became incredible. She whipped it out, tucked her hair in behind her ears and set her mouth to work." Things reached a head as the driver announced the woman's stop. "When the driver said our next stop would be Yokosuka, the woman put on a spurt of speed, which resulted in me giving her a spurt of my own. She stood up, gave a slight smile, slung her bag over her shoulder and got off the train," Shunta tells Shukan Taishu. "As far as I was concerned, I'd just had an experience I could only ever have dreamed of. It was only when I went to catch a cab that I realized my wallet was gone."
  5. Great idea! I'm in - whenever.
  6. Yep - I'll come up. Promise I will start the BBQ earlier this time
  7. You forget it happened twice
  8. JEEBUS! - I think there's a Victorian curse out on that car. Glad to hear you OK - but sh*t, we wanted to hear tales from your trip involving Danish hitchhikers in bikinis - not this. Hope the rest of the ride is super-uneventful.
  9. Autech is owned by Nissan. Is their 'special vehicles' department. They mainly focus on 'accessibility' conversions for the disabled - but occasionally dabble in limited-run versions of the main models. They did the 260RS Stagea, the 4-door GTR (R32 and R33), and the S13 Silvia ragtop to name a few. http://www.autech.co.jp
  10. Sorry to hear Scotty Have you spoken to Wilson parking? If more than one car was hit on the same day - the Police might be investigating a little harder than usual.
  11. That looks like the tyre has been gouged out?! Not the sort of usual damage.
  12. Amber: Is it $25 + $20 to be on the list - or $25 for joe-average, $20 if you on the list?
  13. Haha - big enough to also include 'The Man from Hong Kong', 'I'm gonna git you, Sucka' - and a very rare: Sonny Chiba - is 'Golgo 13' in 'Operation: Kowloon' Quality titles all
  14. Haha - CB4 - a classic film. Once again, part of the 'ol DVD collection. Chris Rock is Albert Brown, a struggling suburban rapper who only makes the bigtime when he steals local gangster 'Gusto's identify and forms CB4, the worlds most dangerous rap group.

  16. 1. No. 2. As long as you have owned it overseas for 12 months - then you need to convert it to RHD to register it. 3. No - built for the US, in the US. If you see one in Japan, it has been specially imported. Was also sold in the US as an 'Eagle Talon' - but the Eagle brand went belly-up in 1997 or so.
  17. I get it done at BMT every time my car (R33 GTR VSpec) goes on the dyno (RWD only) - takes about 15mins. I think they remove the front drive-shafts. Talk to your local friendly workshop
  18. I'd like to recommend Al for some form of position. He's a very regular cruise attender, and has organised some great ones himself. A very keen supporter of all that is SAU.
  19. Drive safe Gordo - stay in touch
  20. Snowman - Very sorry to hear. That's sounds really harsh. They are absolute vultures - I got one last week after stopping outside a bike shop (with bike on the roof), put my hazard lights on, and went in to ask if I could leave the bike. Was away from the car about 2mins - return to see a ticket! Worse still - I've gotten 2 while parked in my driveway! Said I was too far down and blocking the footpath thus stoping disabled access. I live at the end of a dead-end, and there isn't a footpath - there's a driveway. My driveway. The footpath on the rest of the street has trees planted in the middle so you can't walk up it (lest drive a wheelchair) anyway! Plus - both tickets were at 1.00am - only Cojack would be wheelin' around dark streets at that sort of time. And he's dead. I got the second one, while fighting the first! The car has to be parked down a bit for the garage door to swing up and open. Got to the point of having to go to court, of paying up - don't know any lawyers... so I paid. B*stards.
  21. Hmmm - interesting. Much food for thought. Good link - thanks
  22. The new A'pex-i Flux Capacitor and HKS Mr Fusion: Ok - so it's a hack - but it's late and i'm tired
  23. Hmmm - traps speed of 140... he'll be going back to good 'ol 1955 about 1/2 track I'd reckon. Mind you... after NOS - plutonium is the next logical step.
  24. Yay - more power I say! See if you can go so back in time
  25. Dark - Ah... not quite Computer graphics 101: -------------------------- Vector artwork is called such as it uses scalable 'vectors' (lines) to create an image. Vector art cannot carry the pixel-by-pixel colour details as a bitmap image - but it can be scaled to any size without loss of quality. Vector format = EPS (encapsulated post script) or AI (adobe illustrator) etc Bitmap images use individually coloured pixels to make up an image. Much more detial can be obtained - like a photograph, but they cannot be scaled up in size without loss in quality. Bitmap formats = JPEG, TIFF, PCT, BMP etc Cell shading is a method used to create a cartoon 'cell' style image. This is done by using flat colours and 'shaped' hilights and shadows - ala a cartoon. They use no environmental reflections (like a 3D render). You can create cell-shaded style images in a vector program, like illustrator, or bitmap program, like photoshop. So... the image in question might well be have been drawn in a vector package, but it is also a 'semi' cell-shaded image. James
