The Glo-show is on this weekend (18th & 19th Oct) and there are a few SAU cars heading along. Our Autosalon double-team, BMT have their own stand - so if you can, head along and show your support. Even though we don't have our own stand, SAU has been invited to enter the dyno-comp on the Sunday. Cost is $45 (which includes entry to the show, normally $17 alone) and gives you the chance to compete on the AWD dyno. You need to be at the loading bay behind the MECC (Jeff's Shed) at 9.00am Sunday with cash in hand. I stayed at Best Western in Port Cambell a few years back - was nice. Spa, remote control heating, naked girly (ah - was not part of the room deal. Had to bring my own). Mmmm.

Basically wanted to hold these regular meetings as a precursor to 'official' member meetings, as a method of guaging interest from people as to whether we should form a more official (read organised) club. Interest thus far has been very positive - and as Wardest put it, paying $50 odd clams give you some form of ownership with what happens. That said - we have a minimum of 20 people keen. So I say we're good to go. So - moving forward... We need to set up a NPO (non-profit org) bank account and ABN. Things like application forms, member cards and t-shirt design need to be discussed also. As does creation and maintenance of the membership database. There's a bit to go - but the ball is rolling the right direction. On a less formal note - we spoke about a cruise in the coming weeks to Portsea, another club-based visit to Heathcote, a run to Emerald Lake (maybe even a ride on Puffing Billy) and some country-based runs. All reason for people to become paid up members Wardest and Adz had the duel of the daily-drivers, Simpsons were on for a while, pots are $2.80 - Guiness $6.20. James

Yeah - my bad. Sorry. Have had a bumhole of week at work thus far, so have not been able to dedicate 100% of my paid time to whoring the forum Once we get things a bit more officially organised - we'll work out a good regular time place for both member and open meets.

I have a 'sleeping bag' I bought from AutoBarn. Fits perfectly (large size). Has waterproof vinyl on top with fuzzy cotton underneath (no scratches but plenty of lint) - easy to put on, has straps to secure the cover down. Cost about $100 though. Next time I put it on, will take photo.

Music for moods. Always. Pretty much everything except mainstream pop. I just want a viable iPod to car-stereo solution. All the ones I have tried thus far suck balls.

No - the car is good. Only loud when it needs to be. The white one is really quiet - I was very surprised. They are very unassuming too, at first glance you think its a lowered Camry. I followed the green one for a while and it looks tough. The steep rake on the rear screen and fat tyres really look good.

This is what caused the banning. Excessive whoring, cheap shots (someone's mum I recall) and very much stretching the 'no racist comments' line. Sure - there was provocation, but the subsequent retalliation was just a bit too much for most to put up with. Kinda like Terrance - it simply became annoying.
