Hi guys When we were packing up - did anyone grab a copy of GT3 by mistake? I have a cover, but no CD - and one of the PS2s had a CD but no cover (and no, they don't match) Can the PS2 owners check they have the correct game/cover combo and could the other car owners check their boots? Hi First thing: Did anyone take a t-shirt they had not ordered or paid for? Slayer_1971 ordered and paid for a small that was put aside at our meeting last Thurs... and I no longer have it. There were also 3 extra BMT shirts in the boot that aren't there now - and my Autosalon mag with the competitor info? If you grabbed any of these by mistake - and lets face it, everything was in my boot at some stage over the weekend - can you let me know That said - I need to print up a replacement for Slayer. There was also a bit of interest from people who hadn't pre-ordered a shirt (both SAU and BMT) Does anyone want one? Please tell me size and style (SAU or BMT) and I shall arrange. Payment MUST be upfront either cash or EFT. Current Orders: Yellow = no pay. Green = pay. Blue = BMT. Cheers James

You need to work out what you want from the car. Do you want space? Is performance important? How many doors? What sort of transmission? Can you afford to keep it going? etc Wagon, sedan, hatch, 4WD? Remember running costs... Aus cars and older Jap cars are cheap to service. 4cyls are better on petrol than 8cyls. Rotaries can be quite thirsty. Corollas are great. They are cheap to buy and run. Sure - most are FWD, but they are still quite zippy. Alternatively, you could get an Aus delivered Sprinter (AE85 RWD) and as you save up, swap the engine for a 4AGE or 4AGZE. This way you can learn how a RWD car handles without having too much power to start. Euros are very expensive to maintain. Older turbos may need expensive work soon. The more complex the car is - the more expensive it is to fix. For under $10k I'd look at a Japanese 4cyl. Mazda 323, Ford Laser, Toyota Corolla, Mitsubishi Lancer. Cheap, fun and reasonable to maintain. Just my 2c Oh - if you want a 4WD, Ladas aren't as bad as people make out

The stickers came from Street Weapons. See the link at the top of the screen. They do all sorts of stuff - including cool mockup numberplates (did you see Dale's car with Vic NISMO plates?) As stated in other thread - I still have quite a few left. Will post an event for a post MAS get together. You can get them from me there. J

Stickers I have quite a few still in my boot. Going to arrange a post MAS meeting (dinner) where we can chat, swap photos and videos - and I'll hand out stickers. Will post a thread in the events forum later today. I ordered 50 - quite a few were used at MAS - but will distribute the rest. Also - need to recover my costs J

Some food, 12 hrs sleep and some ah... lovin' does wonders for the body... More than happy to collate all the footage (I can handle Mini-DV and VHS) and burn onto DVD. Will be a cool little memento. Can people with VHS or MiniDV footage get tapes to me (or drop in to BMT). I live in Sth Yarra and work in Southbank if that is handy for anyone. If you have DV8, Hi8, VHSC, Video8 or any other format - is all fine, but I'll need you to bring your camera and tape. If anyone has any hi-res photos - can you burn onto a CD-ROM so we can make a gallery section on the disc. ApacheX - yes

DJ: PS2s were linked via a 6-port Firewire hub and 4-to-6 pin Firewire cables. GT3 can handle up to 6 PS2s

There should be some left. There are 18 cars on display, plus my Lada - that leaves 31 sets on a first come, first served basis. 3 stickers in a set at $5 a pop. Bargain! Hi To educate Joe-public about Skylines and to show what sort of cars we have on our stand, we want to place a 'spec sheet' on the windscreen. This can nicely cover your rego sticker For the 18 cars entering, I need the following: Make Year Model Spec Colour Power ie: Make = Nissan Year = 1997 Model = R33 Skyline Spec = GTR VSpec Colour = Midnight Purple Pearl Power = ??? rwkw Rather than list mods (and attract the wrong type of attention) we are going to have a 'fire danger' type scale with: 0% = Rice 25% = Stock style 50% = Dori dori weapon 75% = Wangan express 100% = Ichiban If people can put a value where they think their car falls - I'll make up sheets for all the cars. Granted - not all cars are Skylines (a couple of 180's and Sils) but we have at least 1 of each R31-R34 in a 2WD and 4WD model (no 4WD R31s though - your next project maybe Ash?) The best thing - only 2 are 'showy' the rest are power focused

At meeting on Thurs. Will bring left-overs to the show. Same with shirts. Just got my decals sorted. Going for some crazy Japanese rice style
