  1. In case you need more EPS logos - check these sites out: http://www.linkclub.or.jp/~yamato77/DL/rok.html and http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/downloads/logos/ I still want the 'PowerFC' one though. Anyone got it as EPS or AI?
  2. Thanks A true practial supercar.
  3. Hahaha - yeah. Jamie Oliver I 'aint
  4. I'ts pretty funny with the bikes on top - the true practical supercar Mind you, I'd love to run a quarter with a bookcase on the roof
  5. Don't know what the hell is going on with my posts - but anyway... Merli: The clamps are very soft plastic and grip onto the rubber part of the window surround. The pads are all rubber - their impact on the car was a MAJOR concern for me - but they are fine. I need the car to be practical, so had to get something - but these are much softer and car-friendly than I thought
  6. OK - just under 3 months and I get my car back Yay! Here are promised photos of Thule racks: Just been to IKEA Couldn't be bothered removing the bike carriers before loading up with a new desk and coffee table Pads on roof are soft rubber, clamping arms are plastic-coated. Racks and bike carriers all made by Thule.

  8. Is a TopSecret demo/customer car. I was only unsure as to if it was real - I wouldn't expect TopSecret to put a 'pretend' sticker on a car. They foglamp is on - so it is a late model '33. The pic came from a member of the UK GTR club's website from a visit to Japan.... I was pretty sure there were no VSpecII in the R33 - but as I said, wasn't 100%
  9. Thanks everyone for your help and contributions. We still have all the raffle items - so with just the BBQ, raised a bit over $200!! Would like to do the raffle before MAS, so stay tuned this week for details. Probably dinner somewhere (pizza) - more fun for the whole family! Once again - thanks heaps to everyone, and I hope no one got sick from my rather poor burning of the eggs James W
  10. Would love to - but is AutoSalon weekend and my car is on the stand
  11. Some great photos there. Was a top day - great to meet everyone
  12. Yep - Will be there for sure.
  13. Love the idea. I agree about the liability issue - but worth pursuing... Have you spoken to CAMS? Also maybe worth speaking to JMS in Adelaide - they organise Drift meets. How do they get around legality?
  14. Alrighty... In the red corner we have the production models of R33 GTR listed as normal, VSpec, N1, Autech 4-door, 400R and LM (the blue one). This is what is stated by Nissan (even in the HyperRev 57 mag). This is widely considered as correct. The R32 & R34 had (among others) VSpec and VSpec 2 models. The R33 did not. ... In the blue corner, we have these pics of a Top Secrect demo car in Japan: and That badge sure as hell looks like VSpec II to me? Is it real or rice? You may begin
  15. Come on down from 10.00am. We'll fire up the BBQ around 11.00am - it's never too early for sausages Do we need to worry about vegie-snags or are the sawdust, fingers and breadcrumb variety fine with people?
  16. Ash: Re. BBQ: Yeah - good point Maybe meet (no pun intended) at BMT around 9.30am ish - and we do a run to Coles from there (Ivanhoe just around corner). That way we can cater for the day?
  17. Doxx: Already got some. Thanks anyway See you there.
  18. We wont be selling stuff - but I'm sure there will be stands there with stuff to buy. As far as flyers go... we'll check if we can promote the club. Would be good - maybe just a business card? At any rate - all cars on the stand will have a URL decal on them. And getting costs on a banner.
  19. When: Saturday 28th June Where: BMT Motorsport, 5 Abbott St, Fairfield (Melways 31 C8) BBQ, drinks, raffle - meet and greet your fellow club members. Fun for the whole family. Dyno: 10am - 1pm How much: $60 ($10 goes to club) Bookings: PM Dr Drift with your... Name - Mobile - Car - Mods - Rego
  20. Dahxx: Come along. The only way to know people is to meet people Plus there will be a BBQ...

    Help?

Ninja: as far as I know, you are not allowed to 'personally' import a Skyline into the US. Much tougher laws than we do when it comes to this stuff. Motorex in Cali have spent big money in setting themselves up as a distributor (doing crash testing and parts support) - see them if you want a Skyline stateside. http://www.skylinegtr.com/ They have a '94 R32 GTR for US$34k. And yeah - this isn't GranTurismo. A real 400R is a big dollar item - and rare as rare can be.
  22. Some kinda ugly ones on eBay (in Aus): http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...&category=36606
  23. I have a leather Nismo gear shifter to throw in for the raffle prize. Is brand new - still packaged (RRP $160). Will ask around from some other stuff... I'll get some ticket books - I think you can get them from Officeworks et al.
  24. I agree with Sammi - perhaps it is my past Honda herritage... but I think it looks kinda cool
  25. Silver S15 + Carbon bonnet & GT Wing + LMGT4 18x10 Gold = Nice But not an R34 GTR...
