Well - some would say 'its about time'... but the mighty Lada Nivas that became somewhat of an SAU institution have gone. All of them. The two lowering property values outside Snowy's factory in Braeside have been towed to sunny Woodonga, and the heroic SAU Team Wang support vehicle has been driven away to start a new life in Craigiburn. Stickers and all. It's a bit of a sad time. It's the first time in almost 15 years I have not owned a Niva. So... in honour of the stupidest car ever to push 80km/h up the back straight at Sandown, post your favourite SAU Lada memories. Good (Team Lada at the 2006 GP) or Bad (me and Mav shivering all the way to Winton with a busted window and no heater) - Let's hear them!

I know Poite - sorry. The Zonda is a true work of art. Absolutely amazing car - albeit a bit quiet down the straight. Was an eventful day - it seems that walls hurt no matter how expensive or rare the car is. Other exotics in attendance were... 996 GT2, 996 GT3 RS, 360 CS, 360 Challenge racecar, Elfin Streamliner, plenty of other Porkas and an old 355 Challenge. We had the Atom, Exige and Evo out today - from all accounts the Atom causes a bit of brown underpants early on, but then as the excitement builds and confidence increases - your sphincter tightens and sucks the brown back up again. A true wonder of science!

Normal GT3s have more options for colours - these are for the RS only. There's a red one with black wheels next door (Weltmeister) today - could be the same car? Looks great!

The wite/red was for the 996 997s can be spec'd in plain white (like our normal GT3) or the following combos...
