  1. Hi - just had a few people ask the same questions via PM... 1. Happy to arrange transport of the car to anywhere. We use a good motorsport logistics company for work, so can arrange a quote with them. Mind you, when I bought the car - I picked it up in Sydney and drove home to Melbourne. A great way to get acquainted! 2. Selling outright only, so no swaps for other cars. 3. Not selling rims separately at this stage. Thanks James
  2. Hi all - just back from OS and yes, the car still needs to be sold: 2004 Evo VIII MR - Red 35,000kms Serviced by Techsport All the usual MR goodies as well as Defi Boost and Oil Temp gauges and link controller, Varis carbon front splitter and canards, Alpine iPod control / CD player, Kansai carbon exhaust surround, RexSpeed CF spats, CF vortex generator - and 18x9 Advan RS rims. Standard Enkei rims and semi-comp rubber are also included. $49,500 ono Great car. Great fun. Very capable. Will be VERY sad to see it go - but hope it can go to a happy new home soon. In Melbourne. Inspection welcome. m - 0417 037 520 e - [email protected] Genuine enquiries only please. James
  3. Sorry I had to run. Will bring car again next time. Great guest speaker though - well done TB
  4. You guys must have the softest asses in the world! Buy a couch if you don't want to feel bumps. Evos are fine as a daily. They are comfy, quiet, and very easy to tootle around town in. They also go quickly when you need them to. Soooo much more practical than the R33. Fuel is fine - I get about 400km around town, just over 500km on highway - and never less than about 250km when giving it some beans. There is plenty of low down response. Great fun to drive, and even more fun to drive hard.
  5. Troy is right - his 2006 co-driver was a slow, cone killing hack (albeit a famous one - see about 6'30" in this video - ) who feels much more at home with electronic and hydraulic jiggerypokery doing the driving for him. A 2007 contender needs to be worthy of the Bullet, and not scared and confused when told the front wheels aren't actually driven.Anyhoo - are any of the NSW SAU Team entering the NSW round in 2-weeks? I'll be there in the slowest, yet coolest car in the field. Come and cheer for me
  6. Agreed Nick - Troy's time on the Long Wang FTW!
  7. And Troy, it's not so much the bag of meat behind the wheel as it is the magic button that helps...
  8. Yay - super team red sedan ruleth the Mini Wang! Nice work Dan (Chris and Handbags, whilst a great effort - were pretty good odds to win). Very happy with 4th here - and at being top of the table! Ooooh - exciting times ahead!
  9. Hence why the Alfa 164 ('all roads lead to death') never sold well in Asian markets

    Deca Review

    This thing?
  11. Ferni - yep, plates still on an F360. I know him. BTW - Snows and I saw a new Euro plate V MB 666 on an SLK 55. Cool plate, cool car. Also, a customer has 25 on his SL 55 - cooler plate, cooler car. See... they are not all bad.

Great fun as always - and expertly run. Top notch work from Team BBQ and the officials - you are all rad. Will certainly not be my best result as far as times go - taking out the whole garage really helps your cone-kill count - but I think was the most enjoyable. Sorry to Foo for the over-AYC'd spin out the back (we came pretty close to that pylon) and a big thanks too Cougar for reminding me how much fun GT-Rs are to drive. Next time - Snowy's car! And whilst Snows and I missed out on the usual dinner-based hilarity - we assure you there were chuckles enough at KFC on the way out of town. 7-year old staff FTW!
  13. * resisting urge to show Pete what I got delivered today...
  14. Scienceworks
  15. Snows - pretty sure one of the white 33s has them. Either Frank or Tony.
  16. Happy birthday guys! Handbags - sorry I couldn't make it last night, was feeling a bit slow. Hope you enjoyed your wheels though - so much fun!
  17. I'm sure when this guy told his friends he was going to make a GT-R out of his 3-series coupe, they thought he meant this... Not this... More here http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2007/04/nissa...lica-based.html
  18. Hehe - memories (or lack thereof)...
  19. Hummer ski trip FTW! Snowy - we'll talk. BTW - I still have roof racks to fit an R33 coupe if anyone needs them. Good for boards or skis. (An R33 Westy, they are just for an R33)
  20. Dane - I take your CLK DTM and raise you a CLK 63 Black Edition
  21. Great Ocean Rd somewhere. Might have been on the bit up throught the Ottways. Can't recall...
  22. Golgo v1 Golgo v2 And ah, one of the Ladas
  23. Top work Matt! I was sceptical at first - but so amazed at how quickly you could change things on my car. I think the case-of-beer and some dyno time needs to certainly slide in before 12th May...
  24. Hehe - adding weight to an R33...
  25. So sad to see the Bullet get hurt TB Otherwise - was a fun day. Massive thanks to Lowthy and his magic cable for geeking up the Evo's ECU. Launch control on the way to work in the morning FTW!
