  1. Not always - sometimes you can get a minor notice with no fine nor points loss... but you still need to fix the issue and present the car to VicRoads. Not 100% on the law - but I believe this is mostly at the discretion of the officer.
  2. Nah - you can borrow mine
  3. Dear Troy Merry Christmas Love James
  4. Quite finished? This thread started out perfectly sensible - now look at it: Back on topic... What simple gift ideas do YOU have for OTHER people?
  5. Ok - it's been a bit hostile and overall very boring here in forum land for a while. So before we pull out the big guns and get Troy and I drunk for another Playboy Mansion midnight eFight, let's look at this holiday season as a fun time and try to bring some community merryment back in the picture... It's fair to say we have all dealt with the Christmas quote 'but you are so difficult to buy for'. As car people, I say there's no-one easier than us. Accessories and trinkets are MADE for us this time of year! So... What could the fat man fill your stocking with this Christmas? I'm not talking gift-wrapped Ferarris here - these are real, tangible gift ideas that may give others some inspiration of what to get their friends and loved ones. Some ideas to start: Scale model of their car There are plenty of 1:43 and 1:18 diecast models available these days. eBay Santa is already bringing me one of these... Earth wire grounding kit These are the coolest looking useless mod ever (except for vortex generators). What says 'happy birthday Jesus' more than a well grounded spark and purple cables. GT-R Badge Perfect for everything from the lawnmower to the fridge. Adds 10Kw to anything. What are some more ideas?
  6. Happy birthday! Love your new avatar
  7. Ferns - Just the 34 R.
  8. MP1 and MP2 are pretty close IIRC. Slightly more pearly on the 34. MP3 is the super flashy one.
  9. Hehe - Steve McQueen loves teh strippers!
  10. Holden Commode Wagon - in millenium jade

You be the judge. Up up and away....
  12. Cool. Both me and the car are excited. Mr Spock, set phasers to 'CHEAT'!
  13. Sunshine's to do list #99 = make it through a night out with Team Vic without spewing
  14. Need to add a 4th option: Go away Poite, I don't care
  15. At least it's not Soy(lent) 'milk'. And besides, I AYC'd nicely into a carpark outside the Botanical the other day. My gurney was flapping for extra bars of downforce. It was super.

  17. Kim's right. When I was on my P's I remember only one guy had to worry about power to weight laws - and that was with his Mum's Volvo 740 Turbo wagon. TX3s were OK IIRC. Most people had Corollas, Escorts, Lasers, Celicas, Geminis (and the occasional Lada). These days you have E30 BMWs, DC2 Integras, EK Civics, MX5s, SSS Pulsars - heaps of other fun, sporty 4-cyl cars under $10k that are fun to drive, look cool and relatively economical to run. Each to their own... but if I was 19 again, running the gauntlet of the law and 6-cyl turbo fuel bills is something I'd rather not worry about.
  18. It's true.
  19. All the best Jack - have a great day
  20. Um - Alan, it's already silver.
  21. Woo! One of us. One of us.
  22. Cream Bone White Off-White Ivory Beige See where this is going? It's still silver.
  23. Al - as I can't go this time (will be interstate) - I'll arrange a visit in a week or so. Will let you, and any other alcoholics know - so you can prepare. This means you - Bec and Stickers Will also back it up with some eatery and poolery at the Playboy Mansion.
  24. Now with crappy video goodness... http://youtube.com/watch?v=tNlxVOAbO8c
