  1. Sounds like fear if you ask me. Team Vic is coming - and the Welshman are scared (either that or Chris is just too sexy).
  2. Steve McQueen - Blackburn Nissan were always very helpful in getting OEM parts. They on the way to Revolution Racegear to get those glove I know you want so bad
  3. Ah... it's fair to say Fritter is not an SAU member. Graeme - whilst there is nothing we can do to stop people behaving badly on the roads, it is something we certainly discourage. I will bring this up at the next meeting though as you make a valid point... ALL SAU MEMBERS - no matter where you are and what you are doing, if you 'wear' the SAU stickers on your car, you are an ambassador for this club. As Graeme says - much work has gone into building a strong, postitive image of us, but it takes very little to have that come undone. We all know stories of car clubs no-one wants to be associated with due to their bad image with both the police and community at large. SAU is NOT going to be one of those clubs. I understand the urge to want to give a car a bit of a squirt - but surely we're providing enough events for you to be able to enjoy yourselves, AND keep a handle on things on the road?? You want more events? Let us know. You want driver training? Let us know. Stupid behaviour on public roads will NOT be tolerated. We have a committee meeting this week where this will be discussed. We don't want to issue warnings or punishments - but don't give us reason to. James
  4. Serious? Yeah, you get both plates.
  5. Hope this one comes with a 'Pete is being stupid' alarm.
  6. Bah - the Evo 2 was where it was at. None of the other drug dealers would even talk to you unless you had one of these babies... Saw one in Switzerland once - oh the memories...
  7. You are a wanker Danny - that's why we like you No kiddie sizes yet sorry. Perhaps some kids t-shirts for summer... My Dad's car can beat up your Dad's car
  8. Scar non Dox My Ladas keep multiplying. Come to a thing - be good to see you How was wedding? Hope all super well. New Golgo coming soon. A practical toy this time.

    Be Afraid!

Haha - I got all 5 at once too
  10. So you know too - we'll be talking to Kev from Driver Dynamics in the next few weeks about a series of driver training courses for SAU members. Whether you've been driving for 10 weeks or 10 years, these courses will be of great value. We will operate them as a series of 3 - beginner, intermediate and advanced. Nothing like setting a good example James
  11. So long as you're looking at a sensible sized gauge - I honestly wouldn't stress about it. As long as it doesn't impede your vision - nor sit as an obvious hazard, then do it. Worst case, someone will ask you to move it. The HUGE gauges are just stupid for street use anyway. Here was my old setup (sniff) - as I said, a-pillar and RSM/AVCR were never an issue.

    Miss Juz On Tv!

Got the VCR set... PS: Alan - as in 3 of the above posts, Channel 9
  13. Don't listen to him, he's from England... Yes. Stay on the WRR - go past the Hume HWY exit - as the new freeway bit is just up the road. It curves to the left and becomes the Hume FWY. You don't need to turn onto the old road - it joins up in Craigiburn. The Shell is on the Hume just after the new road becomes the old one. And yes - as Alan says - gravel carpark on the left of the servo as you pull in.
  14. I had an a-pillar boost gauge, and it never caused a problem. There were a few queries about my placement of the AVCR/RSM - but mainly for it being an EBC rather than where it was. I personally wouldn't stress too much... but there is a difference between a 52 or 60mm gauge an one of those Flava-Flav style monster tachs. Have you thought about an RSM? Shows your RPM and can be a bit more flexible in it's placement. BTW: the new toy has some DEFI BFs fitted already - they are on the DEFI stands on the dash to the right of the binnacle - so the bottom of the a-pillar. Should be as legal as you can be. DEFI stands here - http://www.nippon-seiki.co.jp/defishop/pro...p/op_bezel.html J
