Only a week and a bit to go until the first SAU Vic Motorkhana round at DECA. We need starters, timers, gate and car marshalls. It's an honorable profession - and lots of fun. You need to be at DECA in Shepparton at 8.15am on Saturday morning, where you will be briefed by Snowy as to what needs to be done. We supply you with everything - including radios, fluro raver vest - and a complimentary lunch. You even get a free Lada ride to your official station! You could even show up looking foolish in a national magazine - who could possibly want more! The event can't go ahead without officials - so to all those who are keen to help, you have my gratitute in advance I look forward to seing you all there! Slip me $20 and I'll see you get passed Re: overflow - I don't want oil spills out there. If you can rig a catch for the overflow (like a coke bottle), I'd be happier. The main check is for safety - no loose items, secure battery, tyres in good order etc

Fair to note: this car would never be able to be registered in Victoria. It would be an 'off street' vehicle only, and need to be towed to events. The dash is from a US Spec Nissan Sentra (like a Maxima) - they use these for LHD conversions as it's easier than custom fabricating a LHD R33 dash. Likely to have been done in UAE or elsewhere in the Middle East.

Hi all The guy who bought Golgo has asked be about a problem he's been having... He noticed all the system warning lamps (HICAS, 4WD, A-LSD, ABS) on the dash came on. He stopped the car - turned it off and on again, and all was fine. It happened again about a week later - but this time they stayed on. He did a brake test and a launch and said it seemed that neither ABS nor the front torque split was working. Any thoughts? I never had anything like this happen when I owned the car. Have told him to reset the ECU (battery disconnect - press brake twice - battery reconnect) but just thought it would be worth asking. Thanks James

I use to own a GTR, and the simple fact is i have driven a R32 with RB20 and TD06 POWAH...and there is no comparison. The GTR kicked its ass But said R32 still blows the doors off every Vic RB25 PS - I love using other peoples ID...signed Roy

I wouldnt even consider the Toyota motors, simple reason the turbo / exhaust is on the wrong side for starters Secondly, the wiring issues etc, gearbox etc all means too hard when there is a simpler alternative. I doubt an RB25 is as stron...but im of the beleif provided you arent running more then 1.2-1.3bar of boost then a well tuned/modified RB25 will happily live at 280-310rwkws....and odds are if you can afford the gear to get to that power level you can afford the price of a set of pistons and balanced GTR rods?!?!?!?
