Hehe - yes sorry Budge. All meant in poor taste, and good fun
-
Hmmm - the sponsorship of the site is run by Christian (Prank) and the other NSW guys. Post a note in the NSW forums - the relevant people are more likely to see it there

It's OK Budge - we still love you. Besides - I know where your motoring allegiance really lies One of us. One of us.

For those of you who don't know, one of the 12 Apostles collapsed over the weekend, leaving only 8 of the limestone rock formations left. http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117,15815...0-28102,00.html If you have not yet driven to Port Campbell to see these, then I suggest you make it a priority for a spare weekend, before there are none left. Since I first saw them on a school excursion almost 20 years ago - the London Bridge formation has collapsed also. The drive along the Great Ocean Road is nothing short of spectacular - and makes a fabulous weekend away. The Golden Chain motel in Port Campbell even has spa rooms - perfect for a 'wink wink' weekend away As a club, we try to have at least 2 drives down the Great Ocean Road every year - the first having been in March. We'll try to plan another one later in the year to take advantage of nicer weather, and hope that in the meantime, nature plays nicely and the rest of the Apostles stay there. James

Just so you all know - over the weekend, President Snowplow (pictured below) Prepared for an onslaught against these cheeky allegations. He's ready!

Just FYI too - Budge drives a nice '04 WRX wagon. White with dark tint and black painted rims. Looks sweet. Ah... I mean it looks like dead panda covered in bird poo. Defile pictures of it in a creative way!

No - I'm just at work on a stupid PC. You know - work, that place where you DON'T photoshop pics all day... oh no wait, that WAS my old job When I can get home, to my Mac - the trouble shall ensue... And not trouble for Snowy either - where is your loyalty? Sheesh. Why side with this budgie guy? Who is he anyway? He drives a Commode - the sworn enemy of all Skyline drivers. He should stick to being a pet for senile old ladies, or a gas leak warning system for miners And besides - you should never bring a GIF to a JPEG fight!

PS: Montesquieu, although an ideallist, had very admirable intentions with his thoughts on governance. His theory of separation is a good one, in that it has a supposed 'fail safe' for any one branch of government becoming too powerful and, in his 'trias politica' sence - judge, jury and executioner... if you remove these checks and balances (his term) - then problems arise. However, allowing one arm of government to create laws carte blanche also causes problems - so the other branches cannot be completely removed from the process. It's a fine line. The extension to his theory is that the 4th branch is the press. Primarily as a 'who polices the police' style watchdog. Anyone who says the press isn't involved in the legal process in a democratic society is certainly not cynical enough That said - i'm sure the Baron wouldn't be too impresed with the current state of constitution in a number of governments which based upon his theories. Good luck Some info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Separation_of_powers Baron Montesquieu: * and yes, I picked the silliest picture I could find Time for me to go home...

Ah.. they were bright? What do you want to know? SAU Vic members can get 20% off all Philips globe products, and close to 50% off the RRP of the Xenon HID upgrade kit for R33 GTSts. All the deals are via Autobarn Sunbury - you just need to present your membership card. Once Dave from Philips gets back from Malaysia (later this week) - I'll get all the info from him and put up a post outlining everything in detail.

For spectating - Event 3 with the reverse was the best. Having the 2-cars on at once was fantastic. Added another level of enjoyment to it.

At this stage of the game, Blaise was thinking having Troy between his legs was the worst thing that could happen. Little did he know a shopping trolley lurked just around the corner... Underage Country Girls: Come to our party! James: No. Your house is ugly. It looks like a castle... but stupid Kinder Surprise. Ages 3-29. Scott: There are footprints on your roof James: Why am I wearing a towel? Myth: Pouring hot water on dents pops them out... Myth: BUSTED. This shit aint working!

James: Do we have any beer? Jarrod: Do WE have any beer!?! Homer: Do I know what retorical means? Everyone look at the taxi driver... Waitress: Who's Al? James & Snowy: He's the guy in the hat! Hilarity ensues Big hats. Big glasses. The staff moved breakable things away from this man. Usual stuff - plates, glasses... the cash register... All the colours of the margarita rainbow

I'm pretty sure I'm going to jail for having just looked at the picture above.

Great - thanks K

Dave and Marky: Speed and accuracy are for showoffs like Snowy Your 'form over function' approach was certainly enjoyable to watch - and the super taxi was GREAT FUN to throw around! Thanks again Dave, and thanks to ah... your tyre supplier! Yes the top players were great to see, but the day was made so much more enjoyable by the likes of you guys - and of course Pete's KnightRider reverse-turns - hamming it up and having fun. That's what it's all about

Golgo needs 2 tyres for roadworthy before sale. Now - I know I can pop into Bob Jane and pick up nice new Sumitomos for a shade under $400 a corner... but I'd rather not. These tyres obviously need to be safe and roadworthy, but they don't need to be new. Since R33 GTR resale values aren't what they should be, I'm trying to be as thrifty as possible. So... anyone know where I might get good 2nd hand, or well-priced new tyres in the following size/standard: 265 35 18 - 90 - Z Many thanks J
