For sale: GTR, purple. Never raced, cornered hard or driven past 5000 RPM... Simo going too fast for the camera - again Who am I? I'm an ex-game show host who can actually drive, has a tough RX7 but due to sponsorship arrangements have to punt around in the sporting equivalent of a golf-cart? Unhappy campers wating for Jack. Tara brought some good muffins to cheer us up though

Stock Vectra doing well until it rolled a tyre off the front-RHS wheel and made friends with a traffic light control box at DECA: That's Japan 2 - Germany 0 Our home for the weekend - Castle Greyskull! Golgo doing his best speedboat impression with worn, stock GTR shocks: Still the toughtest looking car - even on the back of a tough looking truck
-
Warren 'my GTR is not stock' Gainsmith: The changing of the guard. Golgo gets more stickers. Yes. Yes it does. Noble - very cool, but $250k
-
Now for some more photos: Professional raceing drivers preparing for the next day's events: Even drunk freaky derros in Shep love the R34! This guy said to Gerald "lend me the car for 3hrs and I'll get you laid for a month" The 'GTR Support Vehicle' thing started as a joke... how wrong I was: Being interviewed for the TV special - this coming Sunday at 4pm:

A truly fantastic weekend. Best I've had for a long while I just want to add something Snowy left out - because he's so darn shy and modest... We should all be very proud of the boys - they put on a great show and made a fantastic effort for their first ever event of this type. Countless people over the weekend came up and asked what events they had done prior - and were genuinely amazed at the lack of experience compared to the results the car achieved. Glenny, Gainsmith and Beable were all teriffic and supportive of the guys - espescially since Snowy beat them all (and even Steven 'it pays to be a V8 supercar driver' Richards) in one event! GT3's, GT RS's, M3's and the Noble all look great at full noise - but nothing beats the presence of the Blue R34 on the track. The car looked and sounded fantastic and was an absolute rocket - a real crowd pleaser. In case you needed confirmation - bronze wheels are the toughest! Like I said - I had a ball freeloading at Porsche's expense for 3-days - but big cheers to Snowy and G for showing these guys a thing or two. Very much looking forward to next year where I'll be having a go as well J

Damn you. Just because my skills come from Vanilla Ice videos - not from that book you got:
-
Bah humbug to that Dox. 90% of my previous experience contains the words "Gran Turismo".
-
Some more: The GTR-only petrol station Nicest Winton day on record It's cool to have your bonnet up Golgo doing pretty well on street tyres Not much competition from the other punters The Q-Bar - with sleeping beauty in the passenger seat Like I said - it's cool to have your bonnet up
-
Let's just say I'm down a kidney Probably could pick one up in Minsk for trade on some surplus strontium-90.
-
Hehe - yeah, I'll have the missus whip up some borsch and cabbage. Need to get her a step-ladder to reach the shelves though...

Hey... remember me?? I'm mostly back... mostly. Here's a pic to help set minds at rest: Actually - the truth is far far less glamourous than anything anyone could make up - so I'm happy with the Russian bride tale. At least that way I get some play
-
Nice hint Dox The M5 is pretty good fun - the V10 sounds very F1. Like Snowy said - the vid has 360, 355 and 348 in it... But by golly that 10-lapper for the McLaren is killing me

Accomodation booked for Saturday night at the 'Bel-Air' motor inn in Shepparton. Next door to McDonalds - mmm, classy. Have got 6x triple rooms on booking (1x queen, 2x single) @ $95 each - so $32 a pop. Double rooms (I think Gerald and Snowman were bringing partners) are $78 per... and have 2x these on standby. To confirm people: Al + 4 Ula James R32 Bigboy Adz + 1 Snowman + 3 Deorbit Rigga Is this correct? Will then confirm all accomodation with them. Is a Golden-Chain BTW. Parking is all OK too J
-
Haha. Have you got the Triathalon car? Oh - Damn you Dox! Best in-game Lada was Ivan the Bastard's 2109 monster-truck sedan in Camageddon! And in the new PC game 'Stalker' - lookie at what you can buy:

The hairpin on Tsukuba gold is killing me. I can get silver @ 19.9... stupid game Oh yeah. I hate that guy. Keep slapping into the back of his car and failing. The rally golds will keep me going for years. Colin McRae i'm not Hmmm - so where is the M5? Hope it's not the 'all gold' car
-
I have them all (7) on CD (original) and as MP3 - ah... backups. PM me if you want further details...

PHAT ASS GTR32 FS / & S15 killowatt king FS
Jamezilla replied to BMT's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Knore: I have a few pix of the S15 at Glo I can email to you if Damien is happy with that? Don't forget this was also a cover car in a Hot4s a few months back... maybe look on their site? -
As some know - I'm a tad ill at the moment, and thus couch-bound. What better way to help with feeling crap - than a new Gran Turismo game! Have done the green/orange/red/blue licences - and a couple of the purple ones, but now keen to get gold in all to score the wacky bonus cars (green licence is some wierd 2-seater concept dildo thing). Not much racing done as yet - but enough to know that if it were real, I would have killed a few Italian racing fans and be lying in a crushed Evo at the bottom of the Grand Canyon by now. The car control feels more realistic - can 'shake' the car out of control more so than GT3. Fun to do to the SL55 Not sure about the sound for the R34... but by golly that Benzo sounds nice. Favourite so far is the ITR - they have the VTEC switch spot on! Background graphics are very impressive. Car detail looks much the same - but some of the new cars look pretty good. The Cali-rice Celica is very nice. Haven't got the M5 yet though... anyone know which test you win it? The bonus DVD is pretty good - looks like the real game has Ferarris and Porkas in it... as well as the Mines R34 and the R-Tune Nismo R33 Overall - a pretty sucky 'game' but a good 'driving skills' trainer. I've already improved my lap time around Tsukuba a fair bit. As Snowman suggested the other night - perhaps we should have an SAU leaderboard for lap-times? There's an R32 and R34 so far - so either of those could be good.... J

Word on the street is Mario ran a 8.2-something at 160-something mph?

Best Motoring DVD & SBS "Iron Chef"
Jamezilla replied to T0nyGTSt's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Iron Chef = the most underated TV show ever! So bizarre - yet highly entertaining and pretty funny. I love the stupid girl at the end 'These taste like fishes *giggle' For more super-cool reality/lifestyle TV - watch late-night-poker on SBS. Again - something that shouldn't be, is strangely fascinating! -
Sorry for being a bit reclusive of late - been ill Table booked under my name for 7.30pm Show starts at 8.30 - then again at 9.30 and 10.30. Meal costs about $15 for H U G E chicken schnitz + chips & salad. Beer is $15 a jug - so, basic bar prices. All very tame and good for a chuckle. I have everyone's PMs and numbers sorted. Geoff: sorry to hear about your back Hope things improve - just think, Turismo 4 comes out tomorrow, so couch time can be spend learning the Nürburgring
-
Nope - been looking into it also. I heard there was a spot of drama on the Sunday - with a fight, a dented Honda - and the law shutting things down???
-
Haha - nice work man-whore. Do you have to wear PE-Teacher regulation shorts? You know - the really short ones that get your left nut hanging out?
-
Yep. Tough 'aint it I hurts to be you. * Dale not able to come (bummer), GTTR34 & Geoff added. What's your real name GTTR34?
